Coming with their post-apocalyptic-themed games, that is! Here's a quick update on the latest upcoming games:

4A-Games (the creative team of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.,according to this guy) has announced it's working on Metro 2033, a 3D action-oriented horror/action/survival FPS "with elements of RPG" set to be released Q4 2008 (getting deja vu yet?). It is based on the Metro 2033 books. You can see some screenshots here.

Work is steadily continuing on the Cleaners, the 23th-century post-apocalyptic non-linear isometric cRPG (featuring 100 weapons, 200 NPCs, 80 monster-types and, uhm, unique combat designed especially for the game). For a bit of progress viewing, check out the screenshots.

And you may recall Hard Truck, the game completely slaughtered in the reviews. Well, what we forgot to mention out of fear of maffia reprisals is that they're completely ignoring the reviews and working hard on their second baby, set to be released in Q3 2006 (aka, roughly now), called ExMachine: Meridian 113 (no English title or release date given yet). Have some screenshot fun here.

Thanks Agent Orange.

The 4a-games guys came here, saw all the speculations we have been rising about Bethesda's FO3 and decided to make a game around them, mark my words :)

Well...Those screenies actually don't look bad but it's highly regrettable that it is set to be released that late ( if it's not delayed which is, considering who the developers are, highly improbable ).

Thanks Agent Orange.

Looking at the site, its just an addon named Hard Truck Apocalypse: Rise of Clans and is scheduled for release in Q1 2007.

You are correct, it is just an expansion focusing on adding multiplayer gameplay and a few new things otherwise. Also to my knowledge the game did do well in Russia, though after the reviews I am also suprised they are translating this over to english.
