The Unholy G.E.C.K. and the Countdown to Extinction

dude_obj, I think the bug is related to the fact that you're always blamed for the genocide even if it's Horrigan's doing.

Wooz, joining the Enclave might be possible as you are able to trick the guards in Navarro; maybe it was a standard practice for the Enclave to make up for lack of manpower by recruiting continentals; of course those would later be sent to happy camps.

I can't remember if the bible said anything about that.

Question:

Only finished the game once. That time I didn't go back to Arroyo with the G.E.C.K. after receiving it from Vault 13.
So, no information of the abduction of my fellow tribesmen.

Instead I went straight to SF and finished the Enclave, got a good ending for Arroyo (in the video).
Decided to continue the game.

First thing I did was returning to Arroyo for some nice celebration.
Instead I then received the message of the elder one that my tribesmen were abducted by the Enclave.

Is that a bug? I mean, I met my guys on the oil rig and saved them there.
Do I have to return to Arroyo with the G.E.C.K. once BEFORE going to the oil rig and finishing the game?
If so, will Arroyo then be an oasis (as it's supposed to be, afterall what is the G.E.C.K. for?)

Doesn't New Arroyo get established somewhere near Vault 13?

NAR_AR1.TXT in MASTER.DAT said:
Finding themselves hundreds of miles from their Vault, the members of Vault 13 chose to join the villagers in establishing a new community, and their technical expertise, combined with the villagers survival skills, allowed the new settlement to grow and prosper.

Must be an error in NAR_AR1.TXT, then. :P

Technically, it'd be impossible. The Enclave planned to destroy all -even slightly mutated- life. Your tribe, and hence you, were part of it.

This did not seem to apply to Frank Horrigan.

Indeed. This hypocrisy has not gone unnoticed. The foremost Enclave director Morgan Michaels is already making a documentary about this great scandal of the Richardson administration. It is titled "Angström 20: The Width Where DNA Churns".
