There's a lot more Securitrons than Brotherhood Soldiers.

True, but Securitons are dumb in that they can only patrol and kill. Also, hiring out to others?

No they have decent artificial intelligence, As seen by Victor. And can be given paramiters and even taken over by Mr House.
The Brothehood hiring out? Sure I guess that's semi plausible if they could win. But them winning is logicstically impossible, The NCR is about 1000 times their size, and the legion is also much much bigger. Sure the Power Armour would give them some bit of an edge, but as seen in the Battle of Helios One(operation sunburst) when the NCR's numbers and to some degree Ranger's skill routed the brotherhood. In fairness it was 2,250 NCR vs 150 BoS Soldiers with 30 robots.(mix between Sentry Bots,Mister Gutsies and Protectrons.)

I'm assuming they take power after say the NCR get kicked out by the Independents.
