They are bitching about L4D 2...

They're following microsoft's vista to windows 7 model.

-Generate massive hype.
-Release an unfinished/shallow product.
-Promise to update said product in the future.
-Allow a year or so to pass.
-Announce a *new* product, which is essentially the last one with all of the features that were originally promised.
-Sell said new product which is nothing more than a glorified expansion pack for full retail.

and in my humble case, it'll work.

i missed the train on L4D (with TF2). once i had some time the L4D community had formed & i'd be lagging behind a fuckton. so i never bothered.

with L4D2, it might be the fresh start i needed to pick it up.
