Todd Howard Video Interview at Gametrailers

They used to have a surgery minigame for healing and got rid of it, thank god. The reporter and Todd drool over OA and the massive amounts of moral ambiguity in something so small and simple as DLC in the Pitt. The reporter made fun of Todd for saying that the trailer for the Pitt will show what it looks like, points to him for that. All in all, a nothing interview.

well if you ask me Fallout 3 already starts to wear down heavily. I mean com on albeit the game is fun, its not of the same quality as Fallout 1 and 2 when it comes to the value of the shown content and gameplay. You can get only so much fun out of a gamestyle like Oblivion or Fallout 3 comparable to the short lifespan of a shooter.

Without its hype the game is just mediocre. I doubt in 10 years people will talk about Fallout 3 as how they do it now about Fallout 1 or even 2.

Really? Where is the fun part? Maybe i missed it? Since i only played it for 6 hours and had to give up, because it was boring me to tears :yuck:

Fallout 3 has its moments. Just as Oblivion. It is just not enough to make for a long time fun experience ... but thats just my oppinion.

I'm usually playing games not for fun, but for a good gaming experience. Cartoons are fun, kinda like FO3 is a cartoon in few bits, but it's a shit sequel to a great previous games, that makes fun changes into a pain.

From the folks who brought you the abbreviated version of the Pete Hines web interview, comes the Todd Howard recap.

com on guys be nice to him! He has to feed his family as well :P
What does being nice to him have to do with him feeding his family? Fallout 3 made lots of money. So Bethesda won't be letting Todd go anytime soon. Being critical of him and a little bit of parody only informs and galvanizes a small percentage of their potential customers.

To be a bit more serious, cause some sometimes dont know where the limit is between ones personality and criticism in a valuable form. Making some kind of fun is sure no problem. But one could try to stay above the belt.

Saying things like "omg such a super nerrrrd ,killorz Fallout!" is not the kind of things one should say. Well a bit exagerated now I know. But you know what I mean. I dont like Todd for what happened with Fallout 3 like the next guy here, but I have no clue if he did it with a passion cause he hates Fallout (which I doubt) or if it was just said to him to do it that way. Todd is not the head of Bethesda, Zenimax is, and those people kicked out Chris Weaver which was the founder of the company and was responsible for the Elder Scrolls and its creative content. And they did not kicked him out in the nice way. Who knows for sure what happens there in the meetings. Usual Buisness with money in mind I guess, and definetly not any "love" for Fallout or the Elder Scrolls even I mean very few of those people created those games in the first place anyway (if we talk about Elder Scrolls for example). If tomorrow what people want would be millions of 2D Super Mario style clones, I would not be surprised to see Fallout 4 or the next Elder Scrolls done in such a way for the "immersion" "next-gen" thing ... actualy to say that I have very very big hopes for Diablo 3 that it might start finally a new trend in RPGs where some games will get finally again done in a real Top Down view point and not this garbage third person thing that Fallout 3 has. If it would have been at least a REAL usefull third person view comparable to Resident Evil, Hitman or other comparable games ...

Sorry. I can only deal with so much crap in a day before I start seeing everything in the worst light. In this case Crni Vuk's comment ceased to have a possibility of humor within it. Plus I suck at understanding emoticons in context.
