Todd on FO3:'Uh... it's currently... full steam ahead.'

No problem. I knew what I wanted to say, in my head, but the ol' fingers weren't cooperating. 36 hours in a hospital waiting room will do that to you, LOL. You'd think they'd get comfy chairs, instead of those tiny, hard plastic pieces of feces that no one can ever catch a nap in. Or at least a decent coffee machine, LOL.

Aside from that bit of amusement
If you continue like that, you'll run out of empty phrases.
Would you care to actually address this?

I have to point out that said rule about flaming is a guideline
Must be really easy arguing as an administrator. If you run out of arguments, just change whatever needs to be changed to make you look right.

Loser.

You forgot is to finish the job, anyway. Go on and mark that rule as a guideline if you dare.

Reality starting to settle in a bit, child? We could only hope, before you manage to accidentally kill someone through the inability to pay attention that seems to persist through at least this aspect of your behavior.
Funny. I wonder who you are actually talking about:

And now, to Netiquette, which you should have been far more concerned with than what you looked up:
Does Netiquette forbid flaming? Not at all. Flaming is a long-standing network tradition (and Netiquette never messes with tradition). Flames can be lots of fun, both to write and to read. And the recipients of flames sometimes deserve the heat.
Have been living in the internet culture for quite a while and still can't quote properly, can you? Ever heard about a so-called source link?

Oh... no, wait! You didn't provide the source on purpose, you villain! Because if you had actually done so, we would have seen the other rules! Rules that you have broken. Not very fair, sir.

Let's see what whe've got there...
Roshambo, you massively broke "Rule 1: Remember the Human", "Rule 5: Make yourself look good online", "Rule 9: Don't abuse your power" (I certainly don't mean your "guideline" only) as well as "Rule 10: Be forgiving of other people's mistakes".

But here comes my favorite: "Rule 7: Help keep flame wars under control" The rule you quoted yourself above. Partly. Here's the full version anyway:

"Flaming" is what people do when they express a strongly held opinion without holding back any emotion. It's the kind of message that makes people respond, "Oh come on, tell us how you really feel." Tact is not its objective.

Does Netiquette forbid flaming? Not at all. Flaming is a long-standing network tradition (and Netiquette never messes with tradition). Flames can be lots of fun, both to write and to read. And the recipients of flames sometimes deserve the heat.

But Netiquette does forbid the perpetuation of flame wars -- series of angry letters, most of them from two or three people directed toward each other, that can dominate the tone and destroy the camaraderie of a discussion group. It's unfair to the other members of the group. And while flame wars can initially be amusing, they get boring very quickly to people who aren't involved in them. They're an unfair monopolization of bandwidth.

Or, let's go by the wad of shit you Googled:
Shit? Because no one Roshambo knows can actually write as cool as he does?

Remember: When that hacker tells you that you've screwed up, and (no matter how gruffly) tells you not to do it again, he's acting out of concern for (1) you and (2) his community. It would be much easier for him to ignore you and filter you out of his life. If you can't manage to be grateful, at least have a little dignity, don't whine, and don't expect to be treated like a fragile doll just because you're a newcomer with a theatrically hypersensitive soul and delusions of entitlement.
So I could have just as easily added you to the Blacklist instead of pointing out your problem.
In fact, it was me pointing out *your* problem: being utterly rude and out of control.

And neither set of guidelines has anything forbidding pointing out your problem
Yes, but if it had, you'd just change the necessary and everything would be fine again.

even if it's bluntly and maybe doesn't pet your feewings. Neither do our rules, when "I don't mind people giving smart remarks, but out right flaming/mud tossing is NOT ALLOWED." puts it clearly. So your wholly ad hominem remark about liking to talk about myself was wholly a flame instead of having a presence in this thread.
What I said is nothing compared to your verbal masturbation you started after what "sunny jim" wrote, don't you think so? YOU did turn this thread into a not so polite personal conversation, remember?

So that means you fucked up, broke the rules
How ironic.

and got the heat you deserved for it, from the community
The community? Or do you actually mean yourself and the bunch of ass-kissers that are following you? Sure you do.

And now you're whining about it
I do not, liar. But it was worth a try.

which both sets of guidelines also say to not do at all.
Oh boy. Remember the "guideline" to mind your manners? Don't fucking accuse me of not following guidelines/rules if you can't follow them yourself.

We could simply just ignore and ban you instead.
It pisses me off how you always talk for others.

Who is "we" anyway? Who else would ban me, the other administrators? If so, let them ban me instead.

You are a strange dude. Aside from the fact that this comparison doesn't fit at all, where the hell did you read that I am complaining about not being allowed to do something or not having enough rights? Common, liar, give it to me.

As for your stupid comparison, the cop (Roshambo?) must stand to the rules, too, no matter what they look like and how they differ from those of the commoners. Jesus.

I insulted someone? Where?
accusing a man of narcisism, telling an administrator what he should and should not do on his own forum,
These are no insults. You don't know what an insult is? Look up in a dictionary if you need to.

calling a person arrogant and immature
Ever heard a retard saying "You have fucking insulted me!" after calling him a retard?

, and the list goes on. i'm sure you're apt enough to find the rest yourself, kid.
No, there's no rest. You tried your best and failed miserably.

You want me to insult someone that badly? Here you go: You are a fucking ass-licker. You disgust me.

what "try"? i didnt try anything, you shit for brains..
You sure did. Crawling into Roshambo's ass, that is.

No, because this sad troll attempt is about to end.

I have to point out that said rule about flaming is a guideline
Must be really easy arguing as an administrator. If you run out of arguments, just change whatever needs to be changed to make you look right.

Loser.

Now you're a liar, because I did not change that rule, nor was it edited. The wording of the rules also state that just flaming for the sake of it, like your earlier post, is bad; smart remarks are okay. I know the rules weren't edited, I and other admins can check the logs. And if you think calling someone a moron or an idiot is harsh, hell, if you had a clue you'd know that Odin once called most of the GameBanshee staff asslickers IN a news post.

If you had bothered to look at who made the posted rules, it was Odin. If you'd bothered to look at who made the GD forum thread and last edited it, it was Odin. So how did I edit or change anything?

MORON.

Have been living in the internet culture for quite a while and still can't quote properly, can you? Ever heard about a so-called source link?

Amusing, since Netiquette is a common set of guidelines, most commonly found posted on Usenet. They are so widespread, it's an assumption.

Congratulations that you've JUST NOW found out how to use Google, which I was being FAIR in assuming that simply noting Netiquette would have been enough for any sentient being to research on their own.

But I guess you're not a sentient being, so how the hell you learned to rape a keyboard to formulate complete sentences without a complete train of thought behind them is beyond my understanding, as my personal interest do not include microbiology. Therefore I do have to give an apology for my rather amateur evaluation of your sentience level. ;)

Oh... no, wait! You didn't provide the source on purpose, you villain! Because if you had actually done so, we would have seen the other rules! Rules that you have broken. Not very fair, sir.

Yes, let's see what else your pitiful debate skills can twist out of context in your continued whining and arguing, which all guidelines say to not do. Including the rules here, explicitly.

Let's see what whe've got there...
Roshambo, you massively broke "Rule 1: Remember the Human",

I treat everyone fairly. When they start to abuse the place and the community, then I will abuse them. Fair is fair, child.

"Rule 5: Make yourself look good online",

I'm not the one ignorantly arguing about rules they have little familiarity with. I've gone by these for about two decades, in their various forms on Usenet and ARPANET, for probably longer than you have been alive.

Again, I'm not the one ignorantly arguing and whining.

Don't post flame-bait

Finally, be pleasant and polite. Don't use offensive language, and don't be confrontational for the sake of confrontation.

Which is what you're doing, since you have NO other purpose in this topic.

"Rule 9: Don't abuse your power" (I certainly don't mean your "guideline" only)

Well, if you can't learn from being told, apparently a visual aid is required as well. This rule is mainly to protect privacy and PM etiquette. Again, thanks for sharing your argumentative ignorance, but it's not wanted.

"Rule 10: Be forgiving of other people's mistakes".

I don't have to when they refuse to acknowledge and answer for their mistakes at all. Then they have made yet another mistake.

But here comes my favorite: "Rule 7: Help keep flame wars under control" The rule you quoted yourself above. Partly. Here's the full version anyway:

Amusing that you quote that. I generally give a person a few tries to realize their mistakes, understand how we run things, and THEN ban them. As anyone capable of reading this very thread could see, except you're not even bright enough to read this thread properly and took one paragraph out of dozens out of context.

I also do it harshly, because like you, they didn't show this place courtesy by lurking first, or even become familiar with the rules or how the site is run, before you start arguing and whining. That shows that you don't care, and in turn, I don't fucking care who flames you as it IS deserved, and I'll simply ban you to keep your stupidity at bay.

Also, don't flatter yourself. In these threads, you're little more than a speed bump of an annoyance. Your disruption has come to an end. See how that works?

In fact, it was me pointing out *your* problem: being utterly rude and out of control.

Wrong.

There, I've had to link to this very thread to correct you about your own idiocy. You are FAR too stupid to be allowed to remain.

What I said is nothing compared to your verbal masturbation you started after what "sunny jim" wrote, don't you think so? YOU did turn this thread into a not so polite personal conversation, remember?

One paragraph about having the presumption to speak about that which you are ignorant about.

I've explained this, as have others, to you numerous times. Again, too stupid to be allowed to remain.

The community? Or do you actually mean yourself and the bunch of ass-kissers that are following you? Sure you do.

No, the others on this forum, some I know don't like me. But they have to deal with your idiocy and me having to deal with your idiocy. Thankfully, as per sunny jim's two year long moronic troll (thank you for researching that before making yourself look further a moron ), that will be coming to a close soon.

And now you're whining about it
I do not, liar. But it was worth a try.

Still whining and arguing about the rules. Which, according to either sets of guidelines you want to selectively read, is bad. So...who is still continuing?

Oh boy. Remember the "guideline" to mind your manners? Don't fucking accuse me of not following guidelines/rules if you can't follow them yourself.

Manners are relative, and per a set definition for any community. That you are ignorant of them is not my fault. You just have to be observant and see what goes on. You, however, are stupid enough to see what goes on, and then jump off the cliff yourself.

Again, as I've said before, too stupid to be allowed to remain.

It pisses me off how you always talk for others.

Who is "we" anyway? Who else would ban me, the other administrators? If so, let them ban me instead.

Those who *obviously* might be discussing this on the moderator forums, or in PMs. As you could see, most of the time they let me deal with this as it is my primary role here. I can cut through the bullshit, don't accept whining, and I don't care what the fuck you have to say, only that you understand to read the rules and follow them just like everyone else is able to.

If you fail that, the rules don't prevent the admin from putting their boot up your ass. Get a fucking clue, child.

As for your stupid comparison, the cop (Roshambo?) must stand to the rules, too, no matter what they look like and how they differ from those of the commoners. Jesus.

Not when the COP has a GUN and can SHOOT YOUR ASS IF YOU DON'T COOPERATE. Here, *I* have the gun, and if you don't proverbially put your hands up when I say "Freeze!" and then read off the list of what you did wrong, then I'm simply going to shoot.

*puts two proverbially to the back of rumpl's skull, then takes a piss into the smoking holes*

Different set of rules, child. Banned.

I insulted someone? Where?
accusing a man of narcissism, telling an administrator what he should and should not do on his own forum,

Is your memory THAT short? And someone mistakenly lets your stupid ass carry?! Please, don't tell me it's the Marines, it seems emo Marines of whining stupidity is a full class rate today, it's starting to disillusion me about the Corps.

I'd trust someone like Rosh, who: a)has a brain, b)can make a coherent statement, and c)can follow both a thread and an argument from one end to the other without losing track of what it's about, before I would trust you. You have consistently shown an amazing, politician-like ability to take a huge volume of information and use only a fraction of it, the fraction that when twisted, bastardized, run through a shiza video, cross-referenced with Wikipedia, has every other word deleted, and gets skullfucked until it's eyes bleed supports your messed up point of view. You argue like most women I know- no logic, just emotion.

I hear al Qaida is recruiting. You may want to join. They LIKE your type- easily angered by mere words and completely unable to think for themselves.

Not that I disagree with you in the main point of your post, but man, does this quote really express what american society is like :schock:

Oh, no, I definitely don't fit the "typical" american stereotype. Or the typical anything stereotype, for that matter.

I used Al Qaida because it's well-known around the world, and it popped into my head first. At another time, I might have used Christians, or the North Vietnamese, or soccer fans, or any other group known for fanaticism. Any time something defies logic and flies in the face of common sense, based solely on emotion, baffles me; with the possible exceptions of love and hope- they are the only two emotions that I have experienced that are relatively positive and helpful despite lacking a rational or logical cause.

rumpl falls into the former category. To paraphrase a fairly well-known quote, "It's best to let sleeping Death Claws lie". Why would anyone try to argue with Rosh? It's like pissing into the wind, or extinguishing a campfire with farts or something- it's so messed up that it just doesn't make a damn bit of sense to me.

Your = Form of the possessive case of you.

Lame = Crippled or physically disabled, esp. in the foot or leg so as to limp or walk with difficulty.

Brother = Self explanatory.

Ah! I din't know lame meant that :P Well, it was funny... Still, i don't understand the reason why that was posted in the first place... :?

Lame is also used in slang as a sort of insult, so he was probably trying to say something along the lines of "You are stupid, brother" but his grammar and all isn't very good, so his comment fits better about himself. ;)
