Upcoming game - The Last of Us

This looks pretty good. Then again it is a trailer with no gameplay but I think I might get this one when it comes out. I do like games Naughty Dog have made in the past such as Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and Uncharted.

Yeah, I guess so. I'll keep hoping they're not though. Zombies are really overused.
 
Well, zombies makes the easiest enemies though. I mean, think about it, if you have to pick human opponents, then you have to make up some kind of back stories on why they are bad and you have to kill them and all. And as we all know, making proper settings and stories are hard. :lol:

The setting description gave me an Eden vibe, but the trailer just makes me feel like Resident Evil or something.

I seriously hope they don't try to cast this as "Survival Horror", since most of the games that try to label themselves as such lately haven't really been true survival horror games. Even Resident Evil, one of the original series that took up the genre, aren't much of a survival horror these days. RE 4 and 5 are more like 3rd person co-op squad action shooters. The Outbreak mini series is probably the most "survival horror" out of the whole RE universe.
 
Perhaps zombies will not be in a 20000:1 ratio to humans, but just enough to not let the survivors get rid of them. This would mean having enough time to do some stuff without jumping from one "OMG zombies chase us" sequence to another.
