Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines for the 16th

I think I'm sold.

Maybe I'll even have time to play it. There are just too many good games coming out right now.

Shut up Jebus.

But I love this almost as much as I love Fallout and Planescape: Torment, and I've only gone through a tiny piece of it. Everything about it so far feels right. I don't see how Half-Life 2 can possibly come close to being as good as this.

And what do HL2 has to do with this? Are you implying that Vampire is more FPS than something else? Otherwise I can't see the reason for comparison.

Perhaps since they are both based on the same engine, that the good storyline/skill manipulation of VTM potentially whips HL2's ass.

The engine deals with game graphics/physicues mainly. It has little..erm..nothing to do with plot, dialogue system and role-playing choices that HL2 doesn't include by any means.

Bloody hell.

I guess it was naive of me to expect a game to be in stores the date in was to be released. Visited every store close by as well. I could still "Pre-order" the game in those stores though.

Gnidrologist, the point is, which is the better game ultimately, even if you comparing them across genres. Which game really deserves the incredible amount of hype and which games deserves to make more money?

Which is exactly why I think this game is better than anything Half-Life 2 can be. Half-Life 2 is going to be first-person shooter, probably with a nice story line, and based on that information, I have no doubt that Vampire is better than Half-Life 2.

sigh, i'll get my copy eventually... probably X-mas with R:TW. Gamespot wasnt so happy with it. Said there were a lot of bugs. Is that true?

Not that I've seen, there's one task, that when you go into this location, it's the most eerie thing I've felt while playing a game, and I honestly didn't want to play with the lights off.

Wait, it not onlyi is a good enough RPG to be loved @ NMA, but ALSO has great graphics ?

Ocean House, right?
SPOILER TAGS!!!!!

SPOILER

There are tons of eerie places in the game. One or two more spooky than obove mentioned.

Because I'm revealing essential plot information or ruining the story by saying "Ocean House." If I thought it was worth the effort, I would have put spoiler tags. So people know there is a place in the game called "Ocean House" and that it is "eerie." I think we just ruined their entire game experience right there.

Notice I didn't say something along the lines of "Ocean House because of the X and how Y happens there, right?"

Anyway, that's why I asked, since there are other "spooky" places.

The point is that you revealed information about the game that people should and could find out by themselves. Revealing that Ocean House is a really scary place is annoying, to say the least, for people who haven't been there yet, because they'll start anticipating Ocean House, and they might be dissappointed by it. general rule: if you ever reveal information about a game's plot or events, always use spoiler tags. You never know what someone may take as having their game ruined.
