Vault 101

Ugh, please no more Super Mutant or Enclave revival stories.
They are defeated, their base of power is broken, their plan for the wasteland has been thwarted, its all over.

The Super Mutants were smart enough to try to integrate into wasteland society as much as possible.
As for the Enclave's survivors, they will probably find their own niche here and there, some joining existing governments, and others trying some pathetic attempt at continuing the 'war'.

I want to see stuff like in for example Van Buren; a mad scientist and his renegade NCR army cronies, crazed BOS officers who think the current Brotherhood is not extreme enough with their technology policies.
Hypocrite Luddites who see technology as all the cause of misery in the Fallout world yet are willing to use it to destroy it on a large scale.

I myself have been working on an idea for a Fallout story for some time now and was able to come up with a 'villain' (unlike the first 'villains' he is driven by different motivations) that isn't connected to Fallout 1 or Fallout 2, as for his plans for the wasteland, like the Master he believes he is making things for the better, even if it would cost some lives.

If Bethesda has a problem with coming up with a new threat/nemesis, it speaks of their creativity.

true, well hopefully someone would make an awesome PC mod that will make it better i guess =/
other than that we'll just get this f3 and be happy that we got something i guess

Good point. I'd expect some neo-Luddite groups to form, crusading against the technology that destroyed the world. The Followers in FO1 were leaning in this direction, trying to control the redevelopment of technology.

Wasn't part of the story intro to Fallout: Tactics about a splinter group of BoS heading off in a different direction. Has Bethesda said they are not including anything from FO:T or FO:BOS?

Yep they did, and no it doesn't feel like that, instead of the still somewhat self-interested Midwest Brotherhood, the East Coast Brotherhood has become the shining examples of virtues.
