Vault 13 Water Flask

Wow, flashback. Nice work to those who posted theirs. I -still- havn't found any better numbers to replace the ones I had on mine, but I've been thinking about making my own by layering yellow then blue fabric, cutting the numbers out of the blue, and then putting a clear coat on the whole thing. Or possibly just painting them since I was never sure if the flask was covered or just painted anyway.

I Like the blue leather one. I do believe it WAS leather in game and not denim as some have made. I believe the Vault suits themselves are blue leather as well but will never criticize anyone from making theirs from Denim. (LEATHER is fraking Hot)

I saw in web shops many replica stuff for fans, from games & movies, why someone dont produce hi quality V13 flasks? personally i would like to have one

Bethesda would sue your ass.

Why would they? I doubt the number "13" or the color "blue" is copyrighted by them.

I see blue T-shirts with yellow 13 on the back on them on Amazon and eBay too.

If people can sell t-shirts like that, why would be a canteen or a flask different?

I also see NCR patches, NCR sniper patches, Fallout patches, BOS patches, Brotherhood of Steel flags, etc. It's more like advertising Fallout, so Bethesda is ok with it I guess. I mean looks like it.

It still would be better to simply ask Bethesda. Even if there are many people which sell similar stuff, doesnt mean its O.K., maybe Bethesda simply has not the time to search for all the individuals that sell the stuff.

Bethesda is usually pretty paranoid as far as that goes. So I would be surprised if they are OK with it.

Wouldn't be too sure about that.

They once took down a website of a guy who made some really cool wallpapers. You could download them for free / print them on your own, if I remember correct.

They totally ignored a firm that was selling Nuca Cola stuff that was very obviously very Fallout inspired. This thing is still online, and it was in the news of most Fallout fan pages (as was the guy with the wallpapers).
