Funnyjunk was there a decade before 4chan was around. Memes have been around longer than 4chan existed.

What exactly provoked Verizon to block 4chan?

I know what 4chan is and what goes on there.. but mere tomfoolery and nsfw trash surely wasn't the reason for this.
 
4chan is a breeding ground of retardedness so im not really bothered about it being blocked, but if someone wants to look at something on 4chan on their phone just let them. It's not like the websites breaking any rules like child pornography.
