Vic won't speak

Why is Vic So pissed off?

All of a sudden Vic has started saying that "I've had it up to here!" So I can't talk to him! That mean's I can't get into NCR?! What's happened! If I can fix it I'm going to have to blow his brains out!!!
 
I've never had this myself, but Per does mention it in his guide:

However, I don't think you need him to get into NCR. I'd say: if he bothers you too much, just shoot his brains out...
 
Crap... I need to talk to him to put his gun away for the guard to let me in! So there's nothing I can do but send him to that big radio repair shop in the sky?!!

Nope, although Marcus did have a nasty habit of unloading his minigun into vic's back in the raiders camp..... maybe he got some kinda muntant kick out of it...... Now how do I fix him?.....
 
This has happened to me, yeah. I made the mistake of letting Cassidy burst too much at early levels and Vic pays for it. Basically, all he did was engage combat mode and run away. There was nothing I could do except kill him off.

Or, if you're really lucky, you might have a previous save file. Install the patch, by the way, to avoid other bugs like this.

Vic is stuck! (kinda)

I can't talk to Vic anymore...I don't know what I did to trigger that but everytime I click him to talk I get the message "I've had it up to here!" floating over his head... I can't disband him or anything...but he remains in my party no matter what... I can't enter NCR because I can't get him to put his weapon down...

Does anyone know what triggers this behaviour? I'm playing a good guy so I don't know what I could have done that he would disapprove so much :)
 
Oh...I see now... Well, I have the Jinxed trait so there is a lot of friendly fire going on all the time :)
It seems that Vic is going to get brain surgery real soon...with an 9mm scalpel...

Someone said that the patch prevents this...I'm using the 1.05 unofficial patch...if it was fixed in the original patch, it should be here too, right? Oh well, whatever...Vic go bye bye... :twisted:

Should, yeah, but I'm not sure if it does. Never heard anyone who tried it.

And Vic...he's more fun to kill then to keep around anyway. Like Ian.

I suggest VT organ extractor in SAD.

But I had such a problemo one time... Don't remember when or why it was, though.
 
Have started to play F2 again. Now I have problem with Vic. He refuse to speak with me. He always says: "I had it up to here".
I thought it was something simple but I can't fix it and could not find anything here in the forum.

Can someone help me? :)

Well, what exactly happened before this started to occur? Was he perhaps knocked unconscious during a fight and then you left the map?
 
You could have searched the forum for that phrase to reveal a thread about your problem.

And have bothered to read the stickies as well, which would include requirements for explaining more about your problem - i.e. "background information" that is important to know exactly how you might have done something.

But hey, since Vic suddenly won't talk to you, I'll give the best answer I can, by guessing about your problem since there isn't anything else to go by.

Try giving him flowers and talk sweetly to him, and he might open up a bit more.

If they don't work you can always hit him with them.

Is this really true? I cant belive its true... I find the whole idea hilarious!

I wish they had made Vic a talking head like Sulik was so you could actully see him when he says that in a trembling yet angry voice... And to top it of if his hand could come up to his chin i would just fall of my chair laughing!

I guess im going to spend this christmas severly abusing Vic now! just to get that text floating over his head! OMG ROFLZ

Also, as we wrote, you didn't give shit for background information.

I also found the thread that explains the exact problem, including Per's walkthrough information on it. You know, the thread yours got merged into. Soon, I'm about to say "fuck it" in regards to people who can't bother to search the forum and just start Vatting those who can't bother. I have had people tell me that they have searched, but if it takes me less than 5 seconds to search and find the answer, then it's Vat bait.

So how the hell are other people supposed to suddenly figure out the problem if you don't even have a clue, but still don't bother to give background information? Otherwise, we're only going to go by the info you give, and pretty much the only concrete info you gave was that you didn't bother to search the forum first.
