Viral anti-marketing "Don't Buy the Hype"

Please do not start thinking that way^^, it's the kind of way Bethesda (if they really plan something in this direction on us (Aaah, they're gonna infiltrate us :P )) wants us to think : "If something goes wrong, it surely isn't NMA", and then DAC think's exactly the same, just inverted. I'm sure you all know this situation from even the cheapest and worst Hollywood movies, distrust blabla and in the end everybody is fucking dead

That was not the intention. I did not know how DAC could react to Bethesda's pressure simply because I do not know DAC.
But with Sander, Bradylama and Jesus Christ stating that DAC would most probably react the same way as NMA, I am not the least worried.

I never distrusted DAC, I just do not know them. Now I know they can be trusted when it comes to this matter.
I just needed to know for my own comfort.

It's not a good idea to conjure rivalry between fansites in these days.
We have all the same wishes for Fallout 3 - but divided into palatable morsels Pete 'n' the Gang will take us as an appetizer.

Very good read. These last few weeks on NMA have been awesome, largely due to the increase in editorials. I'd really like this trend to continue.

The guys that have been doing these things need a brake, but something really nice is coming from Sander after he recovers from a mild health problem and I'll do a small feature soon, after I get to the 55 pages I should had made in December for something I'm working on real life, and after I get a couple of movie clips I'm missing for the article to make sense.

If you're reading this, I just wanted to tell you that Bradylama's article has a link that is supposed to be pointing to Bethsoft_Emil's account on DaC, but it points somewhere else (at least for me). Just wanted to point that out.

It's not something NMA does normally, but why not?

Done. We'll consider further integrating WEB TWOPOINTZERO BEST INTERWEBS EVER into our site

So would we. But interestingly, the "you guyz really need to getz a livez" accusation that for some odd reason pops up with every post of this article holds an indication of the truth; we do have lives, and that gets in the way.

Me and welsh (and to a lesser degree Sander) pumped a lot of working hours into this article. Working hours we often should've been spending on more important stuff.

So don't expect a regular bi-weekly pump of this stuff. Waaaaay too much work to get it out in acceptable quality.

I'm really diggin' these Digg comments:

In my opinion Fallout 3 could be considered the greatest RPG of all time and those guys at NMA would still find something to bitch about....

Nix on that, Baldur's Gate series would probably be the best RPG of all time. Most games have yet to even come close to its scope in both game world and PC to NPC interaction which gave you the choice of being good or evil and actually truly effecting how the npcs react to you, as well as actually have a good romance tie in within the game itself. (You can even get one of your party members pregnant in Baldur's gate 2)

Wait...you're telling me one of the reasons the Trek community splintered was because official forum modship was given to one of the sites? Wtf? Who the hell would want to do that?

Idiots, obviously. Why moderate an official forum if you're not getting paid for it? Companies are supposed to work for you, not the other way around (for free anyways).
