[Warning: Very Long] An NMAdmission

They want to make money. That's all they care about.

Bethesda is still on Rockstar Games or Square Enix levels of player-customer relations, in my opinion. They're willing to listen, but if there's a small scale choice they have to make between keeping the fans happy and making more money, they're gonna pick make more money. But personally I don't think they're at Ubisoft or EA levels of no-empathy, 100%-profit, greedy faceless corporate scumbags just yet.

Well duh, that is the whole point of a company. Next you will tell us water is wet.

I don't see CD Projekt RED having to use buzzwords or nickel-and-dime DLC. They make money just fine by taking time, making a solid good game, releasing free content, and listening to the playerbase. Just because their objective is to make money doesn't mean their means has to completely disregard the opinions of the customers.

All of them are at the same level. You may as well be asking whether McDonald's or KFC care more about their customers.

I agree with what you've said, the cracks are certainly showing in bethesdas gaming development ideology. I rate fallout 4 a 9/10, like all of the others. They each have their strengths and cons, but I enjoy them all despite some being isometric and others being first person. For example: fallout 1: I could make several choices that could bar me from certain quests. Fallout 4: not as prevalent as in the isometric games and new Vegas, though the factions have a bit of it. This is where fallout 4 could certainly improve. As for bugs, I tend to give leniency to open world games on this, so unless I'm crashing constantly or so, I don't generally include it in the score creation.
