That'd be $4000 dollars a person to hit their projected goal.

Huh? Their goal will be a million. The 400K number was DF's, you can't make an RPG for that amount.

I have a couple of indie developers in my city that could do it for 300k. 1 million seems way too much for an independent small team RPG working on a nostalgic project for the hardcore niche. Hope they achieve that number though, it would be nice.

Forum Admin post about activation emails:

If you are a new user who is awaiting their activation email and have not received it yet, please double-check your spam filter. If you are still unable to find the email, please use our support form on the main inXile website: http://www.inxile-entertainment.com/support

Please tell us which account in question is having issues.

We have noticed a very small percentage of people are having issues. The issue appears to be related to either server or client configurations for spam filtering. Luckily, it only effects a very small percentage of people. However, we'll do everything we can to help.

Thanks for being a part of Wasteland 2 development!

Yup, Serge 13. Thanks!

EDIT: Okay, it's working now!

'Remember Wasteland?' Personally, no. Now's probably a good time for me to rectify this.

$2 million would be a good target all the same.

Ok, but I'm telling you, the target will be $1 million.

I'd be very pleasantly surprised if it hits the same amount of DoubleFine. DF was in a much better situation to get fan-funding. Less doubt of their abilities, a clearer genre to work with, hype carrying it along. Hard to replicate.

Yeah, I'd wish the larger newsblogs like Kotaku would post more on Wasteland 2, because when the idea of DF doing a Kickstarter project hit the press, people ate it up. And I've seen just as many of the commentariat over there pining for old RPGs, so maybe the same wave of success could be ridden by inXile.

Also, it seems I was aiming way high for the initial target, but there's no way they aren't going to clear that in 34 days. DF was able to cross the $3 million threshold, so I could see them getting 2 million, considering after 18 hours, they've already gotten $500k.
