Wasteland 2 Kickstarter has launched

This is fucking crazy. In my dreams I could not image such a speed and amount of donations! Wow. :clap: :clap: :clap:

Especially heart-warming are the pledger comments on the Kickstarter page, various people coming together to share their one desire and love.

This is the quote from the promo-video with Brian Fargo at their Kickstarter page. We are trying to translate this into Russian, so, here is the question. What boots? What did he mean?

I think he just meant the ranger's boots. I guess it was a just a nudge at how the characters look and dress being more important than gameplay and writing. I could be way off though.

It may be a gesture to the over importance given to minor details, and most certainly a set up so Brian Fargo can say "I'm seeing red now."

Yes, it get's added to the total amount. I wondered earlier today how high the sum would be if all the additional $15 for shipping would be taken off of the value.
 
no you have to add it by yourself.

For example you give $265 and choose $250 reward.

or you give $115 and choose $100 reward.
 
You will probably get a mail that asks fore 15 $ fore shipment to you. one thing i am sure of that the pledge and the shipment is separate bills. Btw shipments from USA to Norway is 20 $ fore a 2 kg packet, 16 $ fore the us post service fore maximum 4 lb in a standard something package.

If someone doesn't care about the game they should advertise it as a Mark Morgan soundtrack for 30 bucks. :P
 
I thought the question was "when I add +$15 to my pledge, will this $15 also get added to the total amount of the so far funded money for this project?" Because in this case, yes it does sum up. The system - I am pretty sure - doesn't know if your additional $15 are for shipping or just for lulz.

Slowed down a lot overnight, but moving at a decent pace now for the second day.
