Dude, nothing personal about it. I'm not that sensitive. Christ, I have been an admin on this board and have only banned less than a handful of people.

The inspiration for the wraith things actually came out of something Call of Cthulhu related and something I had been playing with in a novel.

One of our problems is that we are not telling the Fallout 1 story, so we can't be the ones who bring down the bad guy and there are some quests we just won't succeed at.

Others we might- why did the robot in the Glow play chess? Maybe we can tell that story.

The constructive criciticism is appreciated. The question is where we take the story from there.

Sorry I didn't mention your character in the last post- not sure what he's doing.

Alright, sorry about the long wait, but here's part 1 of a twopart post hence it saying three days before the present day of the main scene is*hopes this doesn't confuse people* I'm hoping to introduce Badluck lindy in part 2 of it but we'll see if i'm in the mood later tonight. Now i'm off to school.
 
Im back from Spring Break. Unfortunately a friend just had her grandmother die, and so the majority of my time today (apart from jet lag after getting back this morning) will be spent talking to her. On Sunday I shall pick up on the rp again. Again, my apologies for the delay, but obviously it couldnt be helped, what with no access to a computer and midterms.
 
No worries. As I recall you got shot in the shoulder. Best to have that looked at. Dr. Morbid is doing the surgery. Note, chances are you aren't getting any painkillers, so this might be a fun post.

Hey Fireblade-

It's unlikely we would have left you alone with Dr. Morbid. Of course, Morbid might have arranged something to remove your guardian.

That said, remember- Dr. Morbid and a midget (but not necessarily 'The' Midget) needs to survive for the Vaultdweller.
 
Well i left it rather ambiguous to allow for that fact. Doc Morbid could be doing a fine job and Ivan is just hallucinating. He is, after all, rather nervous about doctors and currently waking up from the medication. If someone is still there watching over him, he doesn't currently know it. That said, it can be played really however you wish. Just left the possibility open by Morbid whispering to the midget. I dont think they would try to uh "process" him or anything, what with everyone else in town.
 
Actually this could work towards Dr. Morbid's reputation.

Ivan could wake up to the midget trying to do a bit of opportunistic surgery. Your guardian could be Rob or one of the other characters not at the fight. THe character might have fallen asleep or was drugged either by Dr. Morbid's guards or the midget.

Ivan has to get out of this and kills this particular midget. Morbid argues convincingly that he had suspicions about the midget but wasn't sure, and claims to be innocent of wrong-doing. As it is unclear Morbid was there and because of his long service to the community, the community decides to let it rest with the midget. However, others in town are suspicious. Ivan has only to deal with the vengence of the midget's brother- who is probably going to be disposed of by the Vault Dweller.

However, the midget might try a number of botched attempts on Ivan's life- and this could be funny. Soares does that in the 12 Fingers.
 
oh, oh! You could be a villan with my villan. I can handle solo but i think it would be much interesting with duo or a group :)
 
Welsh is advicing against using a kid, so I'll make him 14 or so.

For his intro, we've GOT to use mine. It'll be kinda funny.
 
I PM'd you what we're planning. Nothing big, just the intro of my character. I really don't care if Carib wants to be a villain, I just want to RP.
