We`re not alone...

Anyone here seen "the Take"? It's an interesting little documentary about worker controlled factories in Argentina after the debt default. Anyway, the ideas about worker (or designer) controlled corporations running a smoother, more responsive machine seems to come through. Problem is, we're capitalist. Good or bad, that's gonna prevent any sort or company operating from the bottom up. I read this after posting in the RPG thread, and I used the same example of the film industry. We can just hope that the game industry evolves to a similar point where small independents can make their own games how they want. I particularly liked the point about xenophobia, rather interesting to think about the way gamers interact with the rest of the world, particularly a sort of holier-than-thou thought that gamers are better and smarter than the rest of the world. If you're gonna throw out such radical ideas as re-forming work in our society, you might want some help outside the gaming industry....

These people...there saying everything anyone here's agreed on except with extreme detail and incredible stories to back them up. I can only pray people listen.
