What’s your homepage?

My work pc is set to the corporate webpage because they inspect our pc to make sure that it's there. But i have Google linked on my desktop, so i never use my home page.

At Home i have nothing, i usually just type in where i want to go on the addres bar.

I usually keep it at google. The google toolbar is very helpful, too. If you want to search, you just have to type it into the toolbar. It blocks popups, too.

Aye, mine is NMA too.
I used to have Google.co.uk until I got the toolbar (first in IE, then in Firefox) and stopped using it.

btw: how is firefox?
Good, some bugs and not all sites are optimised for it, but good. I would recommend that you, at least, try it.
There are some stability issues, but it's only v0.9 at the mo', so by the time of the final version, they should be mostly ironed out.

LOL! I did too.

Anyway: I just installed Firefox and its great! The tab option grants me not having dozens of open IE windows all over my desktop and I fixed my problem of needing direct and easy links to the websites I usually go with the possibility to bookmark in a toolbar.

Right now my open page is: about:blank, just until I found one I really really like.

Stable and incredibly fast, i use it too. There are extensions available too. It stops pop-ups and has a download manager. You can use the search toolbar with several searchengines, and the Bookmarks Toolbar folder thing is pure genious.
It pays off to dump the cache from time to time though, because of a memory thing, and like explorer you have to kill the sapo.txt tracker that the buggers of sapo.pt put on your comp, it takes all the places you go to and send them to some spyware outfit, becoming huge on the process and slowing down your machine. I was feeling the effects of that on explorer, mozilla and firefox.

Overall when one starts using tabs there`s no way back.

After reading Gus post I clicked on it too. Damn. I was just curious to see why he was so pissed. Hmmmm....
