What are some of your unpopular opinions?

the brotherhood of steel were bunch of tribals in fallout 1
Edit #1: they should have explored the tribalism theme in the brotherhood, it existed since fallout 1 but they were turned into generic technologist, i feel the same toward shady sands/the ncr their semi Indian/Egyptian culture made them unique, now? they are just westerns culture Americans
Edit #2: the generational ship is also biblical plot for the rapture like fallout 1 and arcanum stories
Are you referring to NCR Adobe architecture? If so, it was a missed opportunity to utilize them in New Vegas to make NCR territories more distinct and interesting, thereby strengthening the theme of a post post-apocalyptic world. But I suspect it wasn't there due to time constraints. The same goes for the show where there are ruined skyscrapers and some generic architecture instead of adobe, like in the classics.

Well there’s also the fact that Aradesh is some kind of Hindu and mentions Dharma. And whatever happened to that obelisk in the middle of Shady Sands?

Edit: سوف تتدفق الأنهار إلى اللون الأحمر بدماء الكافرة ;)

Serious edit: I actually don’t think it’s too strange that the NCR lost most of its cultural identity from the Shady Sands days, because the NCR isn’t just Shady Sands. Shady Sands facilitated its formation but it started as an alliance between Shady Sands, Junktown, the Hub, and Adytum. All of those other places are pretty much regular Americans (even if the Hub tries to have a bit of a Middle Eastern bazaar vibe) so it’s logical that that culture would dominate.

It should be mandatory that all posts on this site auto-translate to Arabic, and add three Laughing Emojis at the end - So everyone thinks they're missing out on some top-tier jokes.

you would think it is still present through the descendent of the original shady sands or their religion spread so their culture and architecture, but you never hear dharma in 2 and nv

eh i didn't mean the architecture here but the culture an their believes, like it vanished from earth the day the vault dweller left south california

i don't like new vegas design for glock 86 plasma pistol and winchester p94 plasma rifle, the plasma caster is now more of big weapons of how much its bulky, the original had a believable look for a rifle, and the plasma defender is now generic glock with a green light on it

and i have seen better modules from fans that represent the original weapons better even if they are not 100% accurate

It always perplexes me as to why the 3D games felt the need to redesign the originals despite them being fine and already having a reference to work with, instead of taking the time to create new designs. This is especially evident in the power armors, where the 3D ones look unnecessarily detailed, fat, and bulky like Fallout 4, 76, and show instead of tall, lean, and agile, like the classics, which look more imposing and badass.

and yeah i feel the same about that weird urge to redesign in games, especially power armor, the whole point was that it had human level agile and make the wearer being able to lift support weapons
