Well, a new add on is arriving in (for me) about 5 hours. So in a follow up to my Packing for Zion topic, I'm asking what you're bringing to you're sciencey adventure of SCIENCE! As usual, I'm bringing weak items so I'll use the new stuff more.

Weapons:
Switchblade

Armor:
Merc Grunt Outfit
Vance's Lucky Hat

Aid:
Too much stuff to count, plus listing it all would be tedius.

Misc.
Bobby Pins
Vault 13 Water Flask

Ammo:
Basically all of my ammo

A bit less detailed than my last topic, but it's 1:16 am so I'm thinking less clear. What are you bringing?

Considering how easy it was in HH to get items in the beginning, I will just bring my generic ranger clothes, a brush gun and my 12.7mm pistol.

I woudl bring my Paladin Toaster, Joshua Graham's Armor, my fully Modded .45 auto pistol, ammo for that one, Healing Poultice instead of stimpaks, Weapons Binding Ritual, Datura Hide, Dark Datura, Cloud Kiss, Purfiied Water, assorted food, and Salt Upon Wounds Helmet.

Hm. Well I'll for sure be bringing the Q-35 matter modulator, some cells, assassin suit, probably a weapon repair kit just in case, a doctors bag, and the basic supplies for hardcore mode, water, food, etc.

12.7mm pistol.
Blooper grenade launcher.
Some assorted splodies.
Knock Knock.

Probably some light combat armour, just in case.

A feck loada stimpaks, tend to shoot myself a lot in tight spaces and considering this DLC is set in an underground research base I'll probably cripple myself a few dozen times.

fully modded Gatling Laser

By "fully modded," I hope you mean "with the GECK." Otherwise, you'd probably be better off swinging a rebar club :P

I've got the DLC, but I haven't been to the drive-in yet to see if there are any visual cues as to what's going on, and the broadcast that alerts you to the mission doesn't actually say anything. Since I prefer to roleplay these things as much as I can, I won't be able to decide on my loadout until I do some in-game recon. If I don't get a chance to gear up after checking it out, I guess I'm going in carrying all the same extraneous crap I was walking around with when I got the transmission.

Paladin Cooker for robots
Ballistic Fist for non robots
Boom-Boom for whatever looks at me funny that I can't punch

Joshua Graham's Armor
1st Recon Beret
Lucky Shades > (all other shades, fuck your authority glasses, mine do shit).

I also had a shit load of food and drink that I couldn't be bothered to remove from my inventory.

Whatever, makes for speedy healin.

You can get glasses that raise your intelligence by two literally as soon as you start the DLC, that beats lucky shades and authority glasses. All I recommend bringing is something that'll be effective against nightstalkers, since they're the biggest threat in this DLC.

Here's what I brought:

Weapons -
-A Light Shining in Darkness
-Holorifle
-Sniper rifle, fully modded (I have a mod installed that fixes the weight mods so it really does weigh only three pounds)
-Chance's knife

Armor -
-Sierra Madre armor reinforced
-Followers of the Apocalypse Lab coat
-Salt-upon-wounds helmet (for sniping)

Then I just had whatever junk I had in my Aid/Misc/Ammo categories. Everything else I picked up at the Big Empty.

I wonder if you have the Animal Friend Perk if the Cyberdogs and Nighstalkers will be non-hostile and make the DLC a breeze.

That's what I thought too, cyberdogs aren't really a problem but if nightstalkers weren't hostile then you could literally just walk right through that DLC without breaking a sweat.

Nightstalkers are fine. But cyberdogs are hostile. Maybe because they're cyborgs.

My level 40 character brought:

Weapons:
Pulse Gun(Useless)
YCS/186(Useless)
Love and Hate(Anyone else see how fast you punch with those?)

Armor:
Sierra Madre Reinforced+Helmet

Aid:
100 Stims on the dot.
50 Weapon repair kits(Thx Sierra Madre)
25 Antivenoms (SCORPIONS!)
radiation supplies too.

Misc:
12000+Pre-war Money(Useful)
120000 Caps (Useless)

Level 15 character brought:

Weapon
Q-35 matter modulator

Aid
25 stims

Armor:
leather armor;reinforced+broken trooper helmet

Misc:
5 packs of cigirettes

I thought i would see ulyesses if i went in early as level 15... I was wrong and paid for it.

Does anyone know if the stealth suit is bugged? When I put it on I had 90 stims, when I finally took it off a little while later because it was in bad condition I had 30 stims. I sure as hell know the suit didn't inject me with that many stimpaks.

There are definitely problems with the stealth suit. So far mine hasn't shot me up with that many stimpaks at once yet, but it absolutely drains Med-X like nobody's business.

Until a suit fix comes out (I haven't checked the nexus yet) you might want to just use super stims or another suit of armor.
