What build do you play in terms of weapon and stealth style? Since by the end you can virtually do anything, please consider your original intention or till before level 30. Not possible to enumerate all choices, so please pick the closest one. Multiple choices are possible if you have more than one build.

Now are you talking about idiot savant or something else unrelated to this thread going on here?

No, it's a detailed and in depth class that really has lots of customization ability.

It's basically, you're an idiot for playing. And you're an idiot to keep on playing.

Oh may be I should add Vodka/Vodka build to describe that and add black and white glasses as equipment that hurts intelligence? Then that will explain why one keeps playing even if not liking it. Don't hijack this thread, Dr.

I had to.... but anyway, probably a Jack of Trades. I don't have any preferences and excel in every way.

I tried a Melee and Unarmed Build at first, but by th time I was level 30 I had already started picking up rifle and pistol skills because I had nothing else to pic until level 42.

@Walpknut: Yeah, I started with Pistol and found rifle is needed for the bosses and so just moved to snipers by 7. Could you do me a favor and cast your vote for Melee/tanl or Melee/Steath what ever is more applicable, I did not put unarmed there, was getting crowded. @Spacemunkey: Could you please vote in the poll thanks!

I guess it is like that. See I loved Morrowind and never liked the 'dumbed down' Oblivion and Skyrim. Played mass effect, but not 2. Only exception has been the Civilization series in which CiV 5 started terrible with balance issues and no variation but evolved into a masterpiece after expansions. May be something like that will happen to Fallout 4 for you old-timers.

Morrowind is one of my favorite games, I loved it. I really, really, really doubt it. See everything about Fallout 4's world and writing is bad. DLCs don't fix that.

I was playing as a build that focuses on putting as many points into anything that isn't useless as possible. So a Demi-God class build.

I obviously havn't played the game. But, is it even really "possible" to play and create some kind of build in the game? In the traditional sense I mean. Considering how the skill system and gameplay looks from the outside. I can only use Skyrim as reference, and I guess you could say that you can use magic or meele or what ever, but considering how open the system is it really doesn't matter what you chose in the end, because at some point you will max out almost everything anyway.

It is only possibility in the early game. About midway through the game you become the ultimate soldier that has most of the perks you want already, so you can waste some points on bullshit. It is even simpler than Fallout 3. The Perks are categorized all fucked up too. It is a total hackjob.

It also turns leveling into a repetitive routine of picking the same perks over and over again. Why the fuck do I need a perk to get a UI indicator of where my grenade is gonna land? That's just fucking retarded.
