Ultimately it depends on the gear...I mean sure, the SS will stomp in combat if he has the upgraded "X-01" armour and a 'wounding' gatling laser modded for fire rate...

But Ulysses can fight and rant at the same time, so that isn't an advantage for the sole survivor.

It would consist of Uly going on about roads and bulls and bears and the roads we walk on, did I mention roads. The sole survivor would then scream awkwardly and out of context about his son. Then Uly would drone on about the ghosts of the old world. Then SS would offer a vauge reference to the pre war world and then an out of contxet sarcastic answer. Then Uly would mispronounce strength and again proceed to lecture the SS about his skewed version of pre war history only to be interupted by SS about the rules of war baseball. Then Uly would tell the SS about his nu metal tribe and thier sevendust hair. The SS would respond in the Silver Shroud voice something about justice. This would go on untill they are both overtaken by burned men and tunnelers
