What would you like to see in a true Fallout sequel?

Well, I think, he doesn't mean the europe thing. the artworks are just looking a bit... strange.

For my part, as Spaniard, I would like to see a FO sequel in Europe.
For my parts, as Russian and Jewish, I would like to see a Fallout sequel in West Coast of US
It's NOT a 1st April joke.
For real!? No shit!?
Ok. For me, as Game Designer, those concepts looks... terrible. I clearly understand, that this one - fan project, but... you know, Beyond Good & Evil concepts looks much better.

P.S. And Shattered Destiny much better too, Lexx

I agree with Wasteland Stories.
Those armors concepts look like a bit futuristic. Makes me think on Soviet Union and Japanese space armors.

what about making it on the east coast? i mean itd be cool and i know the bethesda one is doing it on the east coast as well but like what about the vaults around the Appalachian mountains around NY and Boston? The east coast is more populated then the west coast so it would lean towards more npcs and a cool clash of cultures and im sure there would be different kinds of cults like the enclave.
think about it...

Actually they are futuristic. ^^
Maybe you do not like the colors of them.

I do not think those are terrible, they fit their needs perfectly. No one said that these should be professional nice looking artworks. ;)

We have some concept art of these made by an other artists with a different style.
I do not think they look more "futuristic" than an Enclave PowerArmor.
This one is pretty similar to the Hei Gui

I think it would be interesting to see this one in iso graphics at all. ^^

We thought about that. Making something like that would collide with Bethesda's copyrights, because you cannot leave out things of F1/F2 then. Europe as location was only mentioned shortly in the Fallout bible, it gives a lot of freedom as it is absolutely unexplored terrain ;)

So, it's still based on Fallout?

Depends on what you think Fallout is.

It should be clear, that nothing copyrighted would be used.

This idea of a successor is based on Fallout's spirit.

It is a pity that there is more interest in MMORPGs than in Fallout like RPGs nowadays. :|

I didn't know, that normal East Coast got copyrighted...
Right, the East Coast is maybe not copyrighted. ;) But the things which would interfere with Bethesda's Fallout license are copyrighted.
What do you suggest? =)

What things? How can they interfere if you are doing your own world?

That's right. Then you have the problem that this would be a parallel universe to Fallout.

When moving the location to Europe, it could be the same Fallout universe. But nobody knows. ^^ Brilliant, isn't? :P
There are severel notes in the bible which point to Europe, why not going this path?

I doubt it is a law that RPGs of this kind must be located in the USA. Is it?

So, you're not making your own world?

It would be two worlds within one universe

Two brothers who do not know about the existence of each other.
