who knew that cannibalism could lead to a quest at a casino! :P

Soapstone

It Wandered In From the Wastes
topic. i had to do it since i had the perk! now everyone is eating the other meat at the casino! lol!

ok, mr. new vegas has commented on my activity at the ultra-luxe casino, states that chef phillipe says the food is made with "tender loving care", lol! that is so awesome!

The stand up comedian guy you get for the tops also makes a joke about his steak at the ultra luxe tasting funny (He thinks he ate a clown).

I always went the goodie-two-shoes route with that quest, terminating with the cannibalism

Unlike you people, I am not a proponent of cannibalism! :V

Even roleplaying, it is not worth it. It heals little health and does not have enough of a negative to it in order to justify the perk.

It's one of the few reliable ways to maintain an evil karma in the unmodified game though, since you get positive karma for killing fiends and feral ghouls and there's no analogous source of endlessly repeatable bad karma. You get 25 perks in the complete edition which is lot. If you want to see it from a wholly mechanical perspective, you can see Cannibal as the prerequisite perk for "Ain't Like That Now" which is probably the best level 50 perk (combining it with Slayer, Rushing Water, Melee Hacker, and a fully modded Katana is kind of hilarious).

But roleplaying justifies taking all sorts of suboptimal perks if they're interesting from a narrative perspective, and Cannibal is a lot more interesting than Lead Belly, Entomologist, or Fast Metabolism.

there is also the other cannibalism perk related to eating super mutants as well. if being a cannibal wasnt enough, now you can eat all people! :P

actually, i am pretty sure if you dont have cannibal, the option to help mortimor never comes up. cuz when you talk to him normally, he says you cant help him. sorta like how confirmed bachelor or lady killer comes up to specific people. i know i laughed pretty hard when i got confirmed bachelor option when talking to my brain in old world blues.
