Why E3 should just die

All E3 presentations should be like Nintendo Directs. It would probably save them a ton of money as well and people get more hyped for those than with hearing the car fetish guy go off on about how much he likes cars.

Maybe. Not sure they make enough money or games to tell other companies what to do. Or to put it better, I don't think their sales speak to how much if any the Directs impact the money coming in. They have a ton of goodwill built up though.

E3 honestly peaked when this came out

But seriously, I miss those days, some great memes came out of how much Microsoft fucked up.

Isn't the Switch the highest selling console right now?

The highest selling console with games mostly weebs play. The lack of PC ports for Nintendo is starting to make me hate them too. Every generation I have to buy their shitty console to play 5 games. It never changes.

They still can't get fucking third party right because their consoles are so weird and weak.

Switch has a ton of third party tho. They even have ports of PS4 games. Nothing beats the Switch being portable, I don't think I have played it Docked in months.

YEAH BUT THE PORTS SUCK. I'm just saying why they will always be third string. I will always buy Zelda and a few niche games from them but nobody wants to play GTA on a weak system. I look at Switch as a system for kids because it basically is. You aren't getting any mature storylines from Nintendo unless someone else makes it.

Plus their games never drop in price and they are not that fucking good.

Example: I paid 2 dollars for a Nintendo style game that lasted 10 hours. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. These sales basically kill any desire for me to play a Nintendo game unless it is Zelda.

Portable JRPGs and indies go brrrrrr.

Sure. SMT 5 sounds great and I know there are Fire Emblem fans. I just can't warrant spending 300 dollars on the system when they keep making new versions every year. I won't do another Wii U situation.

The OLED is gonna flop I give you that. The only thing it brings to the table is a slighty bigger screen and LAN Port on the Dock. Otherwise, the only thing it is gonna be good for is the base Switch model getting a price drop.

I tend to wait for the price drop so long they start releasing another system. I bought the Wii U the last measly year of it's life.

I bought the PS4 like the last 2 years of it's life and I gave it to my girlfriend last March because I ran out of things to play on it. But the switch has been a pretty good investment so far.

The PS4 doubles as a blu-ray player. Nintendo is so cheap they can't even do that right. Now lets talk about the cheap ass plastic they use on everything...really that blu-ray thing is a huge selling point. Normal blu-ray players are shit and stop working after a year.

Eh I don't buy physical media these days except books, and I mostly watch movies on Streamign services... or the high seas so the Bluray player isn't that big a selling point for me. I don't doubt others would have a use for it, but I don't.
