Oh and another thing that pisses me off with remakes is when they skimp out on content. You don't get bonus points because "muh graphics gud", you cut content so it's not a full remake. I was annoyed enough as it was with REvil 2R's cut of certain enemies but REvil 3R went ahead and cut entire sections and even an ionic boss fight. I mean, you have the game laid out to you, it's not in a conceptual stage of not knowing what will fit into it. You have a predecessor that works and have a certain amount of content to it. If you fail to deliver on that then quite frankly I think this is even more proof that high graphics harm video games. Cause why else did it get cut? Because it would be too difficult to do? Well they managed for a PS1 so you better fucking manage in later 2010's onward. No I think it was just too costly so for budget reasons certain things had to be cut. And gee, I wonder why there could possibly be budget reasons constraining the amount of content in the game. REvil 2R looks amazing, and I guess 3R too, but I would gladly trade that high graphical fidelity down a bit to make sure that they can move around resources towards the other content that ended up being cut.
Like, that should be your first goal. To make sure you can squeeze everything in. If you figure out early on that the initial graphical fidelity is going to make things too time consuming and costly then scale it down. Cause at the end of the day no matter how much praise you get from the unwashed masses the game is still not complete and never will be.
I also think it is a dick move that they don't include a fixed camera mode. Are they afraid of it or something?

Honestly, I wish they'd remade Mafia II along with Mafia I.
Mafia II is the greatest story of any video game ever and could use better gameplay than the crap it has.

I'd really like to see a remake, or sequel to Remember Me. It had it's problems, but I really liked it a lot. The remake would need to be pretty much a completely fresh take though, or don't bother.

A group of modders needs to get together and remake the og Fallout games with this simulator:
Fuck it. Remake all the TES games in one big map too. All quests intact of course.
