Will we see another Fallout game from Obsidian?!

I think that there is hope, I'd love to see a game in Alaska or maybe even the old annexed canada,
or Arkansas (not just because i am from there !) But because Arkansas is very hilly, and has a lot of different land types, such as the marshlands or the cities, the rocky hills and such
I'd also love obsidian to take a shot at going before fallout 1 maybe even focusing on early tribes that formed (i.e arroyo type)
that is if bethesda would let them.

I'd love to see Alaska, from a post war viewpoint.

As someone who lives in the Pacific Northwest, I would very much love a game set in Seattle.
That too would be interesting. While I know Fallout is supposed to be set in America I would love to learn more about the USSR. Maybe name a mission 'Back in the USSR'?

Wasn't there a cancelled game that would have the player travel to Russia?

Oh and i imagine anchorage alaska would be a really interesting setting.

A Fallout game set in Alaska would essentially be The Long Dark.

And that would be okay with me.

If only... or at least learn more about them.

I've said this before, but with so much emotional investment in the California area, I would love to see future games there, to continue the story of NCR, Legion remnants? Where do the ghouls go, aren't they in Dayglow? Vault City apparently turned pacifist, would be interesting to return there, maybe difficult to implement successfully - but interesting none the less.
What happened to the Shi? Will their influence grow?

We take for granted NCR marches towards glory, but what if they crumble? Lots of characters in FONV suggest that as a possibility, they are famously over-stretched, and struggle to combine a free and democratic society, with the relentless need to militarize its frontiers, how long can they keep this up?

And what happened to the Den guys!? D:

The Shi and San Francisco are mentioned in Fallout 4 so maybe Obsidian will do one there.

Not San Fransisco. Please no.

I myself still want to see a Fallout in Texas, perhaps around Austin or Forth Worth-Dallas, or Houston. But that is mostly because I really would like to make a Fallout game of my own in that region.

Feargus spoke after the completion of FNV about a Fallout set in Los Angeles/The Boneyard. While I am not jumping really at going back to the Core Region (I want Obsidian to take the games Eastwards), I could see possibilities in that setting.
I myself would do something that takes place after FNV, around the same time or before the events of FO4 (not because those would affect the region or storyline but I think a jump of ten or twenty years is to big) that would involve a NCR Civil War due to food shortages and people feeling that the NCR is no longer representing them, only that of the rich merchant houses and the cattle/agri barons.

At this point the war between the NCR and the BOS is over, and the BOS lost big time despite having had possession of superior technology and weaponry (they lost through attrition). When the NCR army approached Lost Hills the Elders decided to blow it up rather than letting it fall in the hands of the NCR. (in the end it was not even about preserving technology and knowledge, but preserving their own power and influence they had themselves through it, rather wishing it to be lost than being controlled by NCR's scientists and politicians).
BOS survivors either fled East and joined the chapter at Hidden Valley which at this point has basically become the BOS' new headquarters, or went underground at various places at the West Coast.
Some BOS members still want to continue the war against the NCR, no longer about the use and control of technology but rather because of revenge, and it has made them turn to strange bedfellows; the remnants of the Unity which is also still waging war against the NCR and wasteland settlements.
Other BOS survivors however start to realize how truly they have failed at their mission because of their leaders' pettiness and now seek a new goal or purpose to unite behind.

LA/The Boneyard is a place filled with strife and talk of secession and the NCR government has send armed forces to keep the peace and make sure that the state stays within the NCR.
The NCR army now has its hands full with rebels and anarchists and now the renegade BOS and their Unity allies.

At this point the player would enter the picture.

The changes Bethesda has done to the character building and skill statistic system, as well as the dialogue system would really have to be reversed to FNV' standards, and perhaps improved from that point to be better integrated into the general gameplay though the shooting gameplay improvement for action without using VATS could probably stay. (I do think different munition types need to come back)

Even the settlement building could come back but I would move it away from first person use a la Minecraft to something that a player does through an overhead map.
Personally my wish would be that the player plans were buildings and facilities are placed and that available settlers starts constructing these rather than the player himself.
Some construction would really depend on what raw material is present and what can be imported through traders and prospectors.
More complex facilities like say a power plant or a water refinery would require skilled settlers to construct and operate these.

Building such a settlement would become an important part to the game's campaign but if the player prefers to focus on the RPG part (or the player plays a 'stupid' character) there would be advisers the player could recruit or hire to oversee this part of the game.

What I do wonder is how new factions would have to be introduced as I would like there to be some new faces amongst the old returning ones.

Fantastic ideas, but to me I really want a return to the Fallout 2 engine instead of using Bethesda's ones.

If I could only mod I would love to incorporate some your ideas... but alas.
