Wisconsin or Latvia anyone?

Here is a friendly post to kill some time...

Hey there, I'm a new Vault Resident here (my name is walter). I'm from Southeastern Wisconsin, a state in the USA, and i'm originally from latvia. I'm a new fallout fan (in a bit of trouble however- see http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=11 )

Anyone here speak french or german? I'm learning french, and "learning" german, although im focusing on french for now.

Anyone from wisconsin around here- or even Latvia?

also- here are the best gaming experiences ive had thus far (fallout tactics will be added as soon as i finish hehe)

games are like movies, bringing what you are unlikely to do, in life as a simulation and a stiumlant for imagination. To me and others, games are nearly as good as movies. Sometimes I am suprised who plays games. One of my good friends, a very attractive brazillian girl, announced to me a while ago that she loves playing Counter-Strike. People should also be suprised how many female gamers there are. Soon the whole world will play games! (PS chicks from an exotic counry like sweden and brazil are hot!!!)

French. But not very well.
I think we don't have any Germans on NMA (which is kind of weird, since Germany's pretty big and hey, we do have two Belgians and lots of Dutchies and Scandinavian people. Where are the Germans?)

Sweden isn't exotic. It's just fucking cold. But Brazilian dames are alright, I guess. :wink:

Latvia is a slavic country on the Baltic coast. It's often confused with the neighbouring Litva.
 
Litva? That has to be Lithuania, since the countries neighboring Latvia are Estonia, Belarus, Russia and Lithuania.

Though I believe Lithuanians call their country “Lietuva,” but that’s still not close to Ratty’s “Litva.”
 
I went to school in River Falls, near the Twin Cities, welcome dassbaba!

There are other Wisconsinites around too, you can find them over in The Order most of the time.

And how does Wisconsin weather compare to that on the Baltic coast? Just curious.

haha, although this is a common misconception, latvia is Not a slavic country... it's baltic, a completely different thing. Baltic is closer to scandinavian than slavic.

The baltic countries, latvia lithuania and Estonia are not slavic... there is a large russian population because of the attempted russification of Latvia during the soviet union occupation however...

murdoch- latvia and wisconsin are strikingly similar.. nice summers, cold as hell winters, haha

latvia is a bit different of course, but still the same very cold and fairly hot thing going on...

Slavic word for the country is "Litva" (same as English-speaking folk call it "Lithuania"), but yeah, Lithuanians themselves call it Lietuva. Interesting piece of trivia is that Latin word for Litva was "Lituae", supposedly originating from "litus", meaning "tube", a reference to trumpets played by pagan Lithuanian tribes.

Why, french is my first language. So is swedish (they share first place). Swedish chicks are often very hot, but very, very very bitchy. And far too often they're spoiled brats too. Maybe they just need third world experience. Who knows?

Still, there's one more in Latvia you prolly have in Wisconsin, too.

I'm in Alaska... But i'm from Janesville, just south east of Madison. couple hours drive from milwakee.
