WW1/WW2 Resource Management RTS?

Iron Storm had a pretty nice setting: Future World War 1, it was unique (I don't remember any other game ever doing this kind of scenario) and it wasn't only trench warfare all day long, while still remaining the overal WW1 feeling. Sadly, beside the setting, the game was quite mediocre. But taking this game as example, I see it as pretty possible to make some interesting and non-repitative WW1 game.

Yep, it could have been so much better, as is was it is a very linear game. Still, the idea was pretty interesting.
