hardcore means that if your caracter dies its over, no loading ore recovering your body, basicly you die.

but i dont se deus ex and diablo as RPGs(but still greate games).
if you cal them RPGs i would like to ad system shock to that list,
also a grate 3d shoter whit RPG elements.
