Zegh's Dinosaur Thread

I discovered Zegh's secret author persona:
03-dinosaur-lit-christie-sims.w529.h352.jpg

Probably not a huge surprise, but I've seen those before.
Dinosaurs actually had dino-penises, there's even a suggestion on how to separate genders in very complete fossils, where a male will have one extra chevron (tail rib) to support penis muscles.
(penis would be drawn into the body when not in use)

In a strangely realistic and weird portrayal, artist John Conway depicted a confused Stegosaurus attempting to mount an even more confused sauropod

in less realistic portrayals, there exists dinosaur porn on DeviantArt, but I'm not going there. I'm just not >:I

That's one weird looking penis.

It's weirdly realistic, though, since dinosaurs would not have the ability to "rub cloacae", like birds do. Their holes wouldn't... reach
So the only plausible way, is to grow a huge, snake-like beast like in that illustration - not only that, but one that would be able to move and find its way.

Whales today, have penises just like that, bulbous, snaky, monster-dicks

Yeah, I understand that. I have the same problem.

Damn, fully errect whale penis could explain so many nautical monster myths.

Y-Yeah, I have to admit too many look like overly long human cocks...With ridges and knots... DX

There's an artist, whos art I can't really dig up much anymore, and wouldn't if I could.
His drawings always had a tinge of creepyness to them, I could never put my finger on it, it was like... legs, for example. His dinosaurs always had legs reminding me of lady-legs, rather than bird, ostrich or animal legs.

That should have been a little alarm.

Then his "alternative" Deviant Art account was uncovered, and my wooord... triple-penised dinosaurs, with boobs.

And more
And more
And mooore... after that, he fell into a depression, and behaved very erratically, including going on to insist that all humans were inherently "zoophilic" and were only repressing it. This particular tantrum did not help him. Ever since, I haven't seen much activity from him. He made a little come-back years ago, drawing his normal slightly-creepy lady-legged dinosaurs, but he had kind of ruined it for himself.

I guess the ammount of backlash he got could be seen as unfair, it's not like he actually did go around fucking animals in real life, but it got really weird when he indicated that he DID want to (wolves in particular) and wanted us all to admit that we wanted it too :I

On the topic of dinosaurs, and lest I be lewd any more...

I honestly think the Raptors in Jurrassic world looked too chunky and retarded...

The design in 1-2 was way better.

Then again.

Velociraptors were like the size of a turkey...

All of first JP was better, mostly cus the dinosaurs were not well known by the public at the time, and Spielberg wanted to wowza everyone with really up to date, swift, dynamic and not to mention good looking dinosaurs. To achieve this he combined CG and models, as well as consulted all the experts at the time.

Later JP movies famously - stubbornly - ignore expert advice, favoring a marketable franchise and established designs.

Velociraptor was 2 metres long, and approx 60 cm tall, I think a coyote is a better comparison, to be fair :D
The JP ones seem to correspond better with Utahraptor, a species found a couple of years after the movie, and still not fully described afaik. Skeletal restorations of Utahraptor do, to this date, not exist (as with everything on the internet, fake ones do exist... :D)

I believe this raptor is a more fitting size, Utahraptor was quite a lot larger than the ones depicted in the movies, which are roughly 6 foot tall.

Indeed! Color me impressed! That's a nice and obscure dinosaur! :D

Either way, Utahraptor could still fit, because size-estimates (particularily on the internet) tend to round-off towards the biggest possible
Size estimates for large sauropods are typically way out of the park, and matters become even more complicated when we realize dinosaurs grew their whole lives. What size would then, say, Tyrannosaurus be? The size it was when it first reached maturity, or when it finally keeled over and succumbed to old age? The difference between those could be a whole 5 metres, and indeed, traditional measurement for T is almost always "upto 12 metres", but the number of fossil individuals reaching that size is rather tiny. Most of them were considerably smaller than that.

A similar issue is seen with Allosaurus, where it is usually seen as 9 metres long, while related genera, like Saurophaganax and Epanterias are "upto 12 metres", but - considering a single fauna rarely has room for 3-or-more apex predators, these are all probably one and the same Allosaurus species, they simply represent more aged individuals

Again the same for Diplodocus - Supersaurus and Amphicoelias

True, agreed.

Then again, lets be serious here...The raptors are part frog. DX

That's the "JP-Fanboy" go-to argument every time feathers come up "NO! Cus they weren't 100% real dinosaurs, were they! They were part frog!"

Right! And hollywood aren't paleontologists, but movie-makers, aren't they!

"That has nothing to do with it! D:"

Simple solution: Let's not go to Deviant Art. 'tis a furry place.

I have to, I got an account there, and 2-3 guys I follow, but yeah, me - and they - were there since before the fall...

dA is a topic in and of itself tho. There's tons of porn on dA. Not even furry, but human-penis-in-vagina-porn. Just insist that it's art, and everything goes.
"Nono, my penis represents human struggle!"
"Oh, in that case!"

By the way...Who preferred the JP3/old spinosaurus look?

The new one looks like a giant autistic crocodile. ;(
