Zone Editors

Lived Through the Heat Death
The Fallout 2 Editors can be found on the coverdisc of this month's PC Zone magazine ( UK ).
Here`s a quote taken from the mag:

It's about time Fallout 2 got an editor. After all, it's already had one sequel and umpteen budget re-releases, with another follow up on the horizon.
While you might not be able to match the humour from the game, you can certainly get going on some better environments, making a bit more use of colour than the brown-o-vision original.

Better environments? And what follow up? FOBOS? That`s not a follow up, that`s a bad taste joke...
Anyway you can also download the editors from here.
Thanks to ColJack for the heads up.

You NMA news people are always so negative...

Not that it matters, because I'm guessing the writers of articles ever come over here to read the kind reviews, but still...

The others are much worse than me Kahrn :)
I do buy PcZone from time to time and receive their newsletter, so i`m really beeing impartial on the interpretation of what they are saying, and to be honest it just seems silly...

Talking of apes, you should have seen the chaos that went on the Ip boards, after a few forae were deleted. Worse than FOBOS. Still i don´t expect mags to pick that stories up, and that´s a shame, one day we`ll have to make our own investigative reporting computer games mag :)

That's actually kind of strange, when you think about it. Why wouldn't gaming mags cover online "events/happenings" as well as real-events (E3, etc.), seeing as most (PC) gamers are regular internet surfers anyway.

Agh, such subjects of contemplation. Damn, it's late...Brio, go to bed.

I sure as hell hope he doesn't mean matching the humour in Fallout 2. I don't think anyone would want that many Monty Python references in another game. Matching the humour from Fallout will be a lot easier than doing anything to the apparent "brown-o-vision" environments though. Someone really should talk to that magazine. I think they're missing the whole point of a nuclear cooked world.
