Find Black Caravan drivers and sneak into their wagons then find a receipt in that location.
This may not be the best thread for this, but could someone please write a list of all locations in this mod, including info on how to find them? My friend has already completed Nevada and says he still has 4 blank location spots on the map. I haven't completed it yet.
Btw this mod surely deserves 9/10. It would've been 10/10 if there would be companions. Companions would be a reason to increase charisma, but sadly it's still a dump stat in Nevada, so there is no improvement over Fallout 2.
I seriously think that someone (sorry that I'm not a pr0grammer and can't do this myself!) *should* (sorry again) make a Restoration Project for Nevada, or at least add companions. Or a lot of charisma checks or both. I have a lot of respect for the team that created this mod but I can't understand that, it's plain bad for gameplay. No dump stats! Fallout 1.5 did this right, companions can level up six times.
A few places was not done. Here is a map Locations in Russian (spoiler):
Guys,i just downloaded Fallout of Nevada, and i can't just make it work. Every time i open Fallout 2,it just opens the regular, vanilla game. After i downloaded Fallout Nevada, what i'm supposed to do?
(sorry for my bad english,im brazillian)
Install Fallout Nevada 1.02 HD, install translation ( help: https://imgur.com/a/ohLTN ). Then add those additional files you can find in this thread (last page): http://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-of-nevada-Фаллаут-Невада.207311/page-49
Could you please send me a link for me to download both the mod and the translation? I just reseted my pc yesterday
I sent you a pm.
Could you give installation instructions step by step ? Cause i tried to install the patch , but fallout nevada is still in russian. Maybe im doing something wrong.
No, not really. Charisma is somewhat useful for female characters. And companions were cut for a reason. First, they get to be used very later on (one of them could be found just on a rails to endgame even), second they don't really fit into this game. Storywise, Nevada is not a fun free-form adventure about a guy(gal) from a village. It's a story without embellishment about fellow people of the vault and the outside world which just so happened to survive a nuclear war, much like F1.
So in short:
1) deinstall everything (and manually delete game folder after).
2) Install Fallout Nevada HD 1.02 (see first picture, this is a important step, you have to check that box)
3) Install Translation (see picture num 2, another important check box)
4) copy those additional files to game folder (master.dat) (2017-12-17-english-pack.zip)
Just to warn: that intro animation, with guy narrating will stay in russian. So you have to start the game to see if everything is ok and translated.
Thanks for precise description , but there is no 2. check box - i direct download the translation patch of 2018 - then unzip it and we have translation with subfolders appearance data f2 res.dat masterdat. And then i unpack translation patch in masterdat of fallout nevada. It doesnt work. Start screens are in russian.
I dont know
I used that older translation patch installer. Did you tried it with that (and after just unzip those 2018 translation files)??
I don't understand you. Maybe the creator(s) think that having useless stats is good for the game, but I can't agree with such view. I think that every stat should be useful, not ''somewhat useful'' at best. I'm not the only one who thinks so, as I see that some people already made crazy edition that adds followers, am I right?
Creators of course can make decisions that are bad from gameplay/mechanics point of view and justify them as they like. They can put temporary followers at the end of the game or state that it's a story about loner guy/gal, but it's just restrictive, it promotes certain character builds over other builds, giving you more limited experience.
To me roleplaying means that you can shape your adventure as you like, having 10 charisma should make you not only ''10/10 hot and can succeed in talking'', but give you an opportunity to become a guru, cult leader or just being someone that has a lot of friends (companions). In real life ''charisma'' does really matter!
Love fallout Nevada. Great job by the developers! Anybody know how would I mod an area of the game in mapper? Thanks guys

It works. I simply overwrote masterdat and the other translation files on fallout nevada. But now i will try the newest 2018 translation patch. Thanks for helping get on track.
where you take translation 2018?
I somewhat agree, a Fallout game should have a CH10 option.
But then I also disagree, as I think a mod maker must have the option to make it a „lone experience“ if the mod creator feels it helps the story and atmosphere.
However, something that could be taken away from this, could be to include a couple of companions that can only be acquired with CH 9 or 10.
Adding something unique and special into the experience is very Fallout, a reason to replay, and an option to award CH 9+ builds.
That could be a nice feature.
P.S. Is there a point in reporting errors? I have not played much yet (only tested the waters and messed around a little, to check if it works and how the mod is). However, during that I discovered the „gang rape scenario“in New Reno, which is one of those things that should never occur in a normal play-through (aka really dumb choice ) but it appears it assigns Gigolo (…). Isn't that a bit unfair?
I heard that FO2 counted some sexual encounters as 0 (erroneously?), perhaps the same could apply here? Or it could have a special reputation perk („traumatizing experience“), but walking away from it as a Gigolo, kind of ruins it, wouldn't you say?

First things first, thank you guys for your hard work.
Second, I've run in some issue with the talking faces in las vegas. Mayor has (Cheyenne's?) water tower, las vegas' clean city casino owner has some guy with a bag on his head (leader of dead hotel's ghouls?), ghoul leader has some guy in power armor (biker leader? He doesn't have any special graphic for him).
Third, how do I bait the uranium city worms to the surface? I've used explosives in multiple places both in and outside the mine. There are supposed to be three worms and I've killed three molerat graphic using "mutants" in the mine long before even talking about it to Nelson, did I screw myself over?
Fourth, similar as the third, can I finish the black rock/gestahl courier quest after having gestahl population move to vault city? Apparently I'm supposed to talk to his wife, but she's nowhere to be found.
Fifth, where do I get the gas analizer? I've pretty much cleared out most of the game and really want to tie up the loose ends before taking the train on a trip to the mystery location that I suppose is the end of the game point of no return.
Sixth, is heart medicine a random spawn? I've got the first one from wind of war apothecary, now that I'm supposed to get a second one I can't find any, despite running circles between all of the wendors. None of the npcs that I thought would have some (like mr. Luciano who supposedly is after two heart attacks) has any.
Seventh, is that hunting village near salt lake city an actual in game location? No one in the city has any dialogue about it.
Sorry for the wall of text and asking a lot of questions about things I should've figured out on my own.
