Ok, so, what have been your worse f*ck ups of recent or that you remember? One that gets the end credits from Curb Your Enthusiams rolling kind of f*ck up. I'll start by mine, and then you can judge how big or rather insignificant you think it is (and then post your own as an example). This is more recent than anything else, and didn't involved much further damage to myself other than some people apparently hating me for life. So, I recently started playing tabletop RPG's with some people I met at RPG conventions (which for where I'm from they are diminute, but still). So, I played with this guy and he invited me to a campaign of Call of C'thulhu with his girlfirend and a couple of friends, and it went well. So he then decided to introduce me to his, lets call it, close knit group of roleplaying and life friends and start a Legend of the Five Rings campaign. Two of the guys I already knew from the previous campaign and there were other three I've never seen before. Paralel to this, the guy invied me to a surprise paintball game for one of his close friends, that I've never seen in my life, to which I told him I coulnd't attend to. He never really said it was a surprise party or anything, it said so in the Facebook group description and nothing else, and again, I even wasn't sure who the party was for. So then we play our first session of L5R and things go well, but I already start getting "complaints" acording to him, from some of his friends, not on how I play, but in that they think I'm "weird" or soemething. Apparently from some of his friends that didn't yet knew me until then. I payed no further heed to that and found it somewhat amusing even. And the we come to the f*ck up. The day of the next session was before the day of the paintball event, and, of course, I have no better idea to ask if the session will still take place being that there is this paintball thing the next day, and apparently the one being surprised was one of the people on the table and I blew the whole thing up. So, I first get contacted by the guy organizing the event, the one that introduced me to the group, saying that what I did was serious, and that he culd accept many things but when it came to his close friend it was the limit, and that the other guys decided not to kick me out of the campaign so it wasn't up to him to do it. To which I replied to him that if what happened was so serious I'd myself rather leave on my own and be done with it, but the guy then said that I shouldn't do that, so, I told him I would go to the next session. Then the next session got cancelled, all this time I tried to keep quiet to not make it worse, but aparently the guy got crossed about my silence. He told me he couldn't understand how I was ignoring the something so serious and the some of his friends were particularly upset I haven't even apologised to the guy the surprise party was for (I haven't even seen the guy again since the first session), and they finally decided to kick me out and end the campaig. And now apparently they all hate me and never want to see me gain. To be honest I was so confused with the whole situation I'm kinda relieved I'm never seeing any one of them again.
