But you see, that's where your views start to fall apart.

Earlier, I gave the example of Brittany and Paris. You said that they have enough genetic similarities to be considered the same race.

However, people from Brittany are mostly descended from the Celts, whereas people from mainland France are mostly descended from Germanic Tribes(Mainly the Franks)

This means that people in Brittany are far more genetically similar to Welsh or Scottish people than they are to other French people.

This also means that people from mainland France have more similarities to people from England than they do to people from Brittany.

So by your logic, people from two different regions of France, can't both count as French.

A lot of the French also descended from the Celts who used to occupy that area (and more) in pre-Roman times. You do have to keep in mind that a lot of mixing of the different European races went on and it is due to the fact that European races are so similar to eachother that theres not as much of a conflict when they mix.

Gonna be honest I think we're all kinda stepping out of our depth here at this point. I was merely stating that there are different genetic traits between certain peoples even among different European peoples and that you can't reasonably call someone who doesn't even share any of their traits a member of that people.

Not really since you're basing it on their Celtic ancestry which Parisians also have as Celts were also present in that area.

Seems like it often gets mixed up with racism. Why does it always involve being afraid of people not like you, or thinking you are better than them? Why does it often trigger war like the first World War?
