Alex Rocco Godfather actor and New Vegas voice actor has passed away

US actor Alex Rocco, best known for his role of Moe Greene in The Godfather has died of cancer aged 79.

During his 50 year career he racked up an impressive 167 acting credits(film, TV and one video game) according to IMDB. In Fallout: New Vegas he voiced Big Sal the right hand man of the Omertas leader Nero. Big Sal is a critical part of the side quest of How Little We Know. You may also know his work from The Simpsons where he voiced Roger Meyers Jr. the chairman of Itchy & Scratchy International in three memorable episodes.

That is rather sad to hear, I definitely remember the Simpson character he played and of course Big Sal.
He really knew how to put down a old style mobster character.

I believe it's a emote of a person basically saluting, the 'o' being the head of the being, and the '7' being the arm in a bent formation, giving off a salute.

I don't really remember Sal too much but I do remember the Simpson's charecter and of course Moe Greene. Obviously people are dying all the time but I must be at that age where a generation of people I admired from my childhood are on their way out which is pretty sad.

On another note, chastising someone publicly for just showing respect in their own way seems to lower the tone in my opinion and sucks any sort of respect out of the thread in general.

I agree and I'd have done it via PM if it was just one person. Also, I don't like needing to do it either, but I felt it was necessary. For the record that's me trying to be nice, since the rules say such posts are to be deleted on sight; I'm leaving them exactly because they're "showing respect in their own way".
