Yeah, I could say the same. The second game had a good setup for both halves imo, but the second half wasn't really as strong as the first half, and in terms of dialogue... well I admittedly clicked through some conversations during the second half because they just weren't interesting anymore...

If you're fine with more clunkier games, I would recommend The Fall: Last Days of Gaia. It's a German RPG similar to Fallout, but there is an English translation available, and it's pretty decent. Definitely has that vibe going for it, especially in terms of its writing (dialogue, not the plot)...

I'm glad you're having fun with the game so far, very much worth finishing. It's one of my favorites and some of the most fun I ever had with an RPG, and it's always nice to see that it's still beloved from the people who play it for the first time.
