It's not just that they post "the wrong answer", it's the INNATE IMPULSE in their psyche - causing them to just go ahead and post a vapid tutorial in the first place - that must - MUST - be erradicated from the human gene pool as soon as we can get it done.

What's the issue man. Well, besides the rage of people who assume you haven't tried the simple fixes.

If someone's car speeds up, when applying the brakes, and your mechanic just shrugs and goes "have you tried applying the brakes?" - he needs to immediately die. Immediately! Immediately!!!

I'm just bothered with MS-paint's inability to uphold the "transparent selection" setting. It's not a big deal, really - I just *cannot stand* people who just respond "Menu, click transparent selection. You're welcome!"

This is something I do often - I encounter a problem that's not really a big deal. But then I have to deal with people *and* the initial problem, and right away, I start fantasizing about executions

I feel your pain. Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 has some issues that were never fixed as well. E.g. if you select (part of) an image, that image can not be worked on anymore. You have to close it and open it again before you can proceed. I addressed the issue on some board many years ago and 500 idiots started quoting the manual. Ugh.
