Hey, at least I don't boil 'em, mash 'em, and stick 'em in a stew like some slant-eyed individuals.

Why's that?

It’s annoying when trying to talk about pets I might get most of the time people push really hard for you to adopt. Getting a shelter pet will come with baggage like old habits or names.

It’s like people don’t understand or care that maybe you want a siamese cat since you had one as a kid. They will still push to get shelter pet, like…..wth does it matter to them?

Probably because they’re advocating for the logical thing to do if you’re getting a pet. It’s better but eh, I wouldn’t beg you to do it either.

I mean, if you wanna pay ridiculous amounts of money for an animal you can get basically for free then go ahead.
