    Fallout 3 won't be Morrowind-with-guns

Actually, it's real time. Isometric is a type of third person, but is not the same as a chase cam like Morrowind's third person uses. Point and click works well in isometric, but not well at all with an over the shoulder chase cam. Fallout is point and click for many reasons. Dear lord, son...

    Todd Howard Q&A on Gamespot

Have fun implimenting a system of movement control with a console controller that deals well with hexagonal movement. Point and click is about the only good way to handle this.

    Todd Howard Q&A on Gamespot

Who gives a rat's ass what the last three in that list think? Tim, Leon, Jason, and Chris Taylor would be the important four to ask since they're the original four horseman. MCA is the only one of the latter three that's worked on a Fallout title, and while he's a good level designer, he never...

    Todd Howard Q&A on Gamespot

There's also a reason why Fallout has never been ported to a console in tact, too, even though many other CRPGs have been. There's quite a bit of difference between Morrowind and Fallout as well, which makes Morrowind easier to translate to a console.

    Rosh talks about Bethesda

Now you know why Bethesda doesn't make multiplayer games. They can't even keep a web forum up.

    Relax?!

All these Bethesda forumboys that keep coming here, spewing that fun stuff, and getting banned for it can best be summed up by this picture:

Interplay announces Fallout 3 licensing deal with Bethesda

Actually, I'm about to go watch Darkness Falls with my wife. A horror movie about the Tooth Fairy.. How could that not be great? :D

Interplay announces Fallout 3 licensing deal with Bethesda

I think Visceris is mad because I'm the same age as him, 32, but I've had sex, am married, and have never been so fat that I got kicked off an aircraft carrier. Of course, Visceris did have that one girlfriend once, but she tried to kill him. That was probably the high light of his life, right...

    Pete Hines Talks to IGN

I think you mean to say that you've looked at the pictures on DAC and NMA for years. Everything after this point spells out clearly how much reading you did.

    IPLY article

You know that Chucky was canned over eight months ago, right? He was canned before Fallout 3 was canned.

    News on IPLY this week?

Why would Troika want the unfinished Fallout 3? I'm sure they can afford the same toilet paper the rest of us use.

    Games like Fallout

http://www.spidweb.com - Geneforge series and Avernum series http://www.teudogar.com/home.htm - Teudogar and the Alliance with Rome, similar to Ultimas only with a historical setting. http://www.zero-sum.com/ - Prelude to Darkness, damned fine CRPG with a unique turn based combat system and...

Bourgeoisie could really use a hand in graphics

Please tell me you're the one writing the dialogue for the English version, because that would be keen.

Herve Hears A FOOL! Wait...Herve is called a FOOL.

Oh yeah, Interplay has also published for Blizzard and Westwood in the past as well.

Herve Hears A FOOL! Wait...Herve is called a FOOL.

Interplay turned down publishing Doom2 because they thought Descent's degrees of freedom and more advanced engine would sell much better. They also didn't want two games competing with one another.

The Fall Dev diary #5 on RPGVault

There's a great part where he talks about multiple ways of doing quests. His example is that you have to use dynamite to enter a bunker, but you can find the dynamite or buy it or obtain the dynamite through an accommodation broker.. Eh? You're just just blowing up the door, so how is that...

Herve Hears A FOOL! Wait...Herve is called a FOOL.

He told me he played Fallout Enforcer. He said he played through the first area, the infamous warehouse with rats. He said he was hoping it would get better after he cleared that awful, nasty, boring level.. Then he found out he had only completed the first floor of the warehouse and there were...

    Titus site gone?

Um, the Titus site has been down longer than Interplay's.

    Hang on Herve

I still think it would be cheaper for all those companies to let Interplay sink and then collect the licenses from creditor auctions. It would probably be even cheaper at this point than Herve selling things off from Interplay piece by piece. However, I think that California would be much...

    Hang on Herve

Well, they can't simply ship copies without those royalties. Atari and Interplay would both be able to fire off a volley of homing lawyers if they distributed more copies beyond what they initially paid for. I'm rather amazed Herve would want to do this. He might say he wants the money to...
