Does anybody else think that the US elections McCain Campaign is pulling a stunt by putting Sarah Palin as Vice-President? I mean, they are getting to victimize her in order to slander the Democrats AND they are able to pretend that they are being pro-diversity, too.

What do YOU think?
 
I think its funny as hell watching Comedy Central make fun of it all. Palin is a tool. I hear she wears lipstick. Oh no I'm a "SEXIST"! Ridiculous nonsense. Did Hillary get this "SEXIST" treatment. It's obviously all unfair judgment pointed towards a candidate that is extremely experienced. She was a mayor for chrisakes. She is totally qualified to run for VP. I mean,cmon. She has so much experience in dealing with National Security since she is Governor of Alaska. It's like so close to Russia and stuff.
I like her because shes a women and McCain looks at her ass when she is onstage. She has my vote.
Seriously though. It does seem like this election has turned into a gigantic stunt. I expect to wake up and find out it was all a dream or something. The economy has just took a fucking gigantic nosedive and none of the candidates seemed to have any idea what they were talking about.
She is kinda good looking though. At least she doesn't look as manlike as Hillary.
 
Thats okay. The next election after this one will occur in 2012 O.o.
 
I believe Palin is a great VP pick. I do admit she is a tool, but a tool that the GOP is not going the throw away once McCain is in office.

She is going to help to get some of the Women vote and also show the Americans that the GOP are not Elites. Since Palin comes from a small town America background.

Obama picked Biden because he was also a tool to show America that Obama is picking a right team that has foreign policy experince.

In the realm of politics. There are going to be tools to be used to help get elected. Look at the 1984 election when Mondale picked a woman for VP. He used her to try to help him to get in to the White House, but that unfortunately failed when Reagan kicked his ass by carrying 49 out of 50 states.

Do you know why Dems picked Obama even though Hillary was the better candidate? He was picked because he has the charisma and he was black. Jesse Jackson tried it and Al Sharpton tried it, but they lacked the charisma that Obama had. Now Obama is now a consider a Saint like figure among the media.

Also among the Media and liberal alike. They give a view that Republicans don't care about middle class and only for the Rich. Unfortunately they need to get their facts straight. They like to forget that most rich people are democrats.

Lets look at the history of Palin and Obama:

Education:

Palin:
- Went to Public schools all her life.
- Hawaii Pacific University (Private)
- North Idaho College (Public Community College)
- University of Idaho (Public University)


Obama:
- Was at a private school from 5th to his high school graduation.
- Occidental College (Private)
- Columbia University (Private)
- Harvard Law School (Private)

Jobs before Politics:

Palin:
- TV sports reporter
- Helped Run a Family Fishing Company
- 20% own a car wash business.

Obama:
- Community Organzier
- Lawyer
- Teacher of Law at University of Chicago Law School (Private)

With Palin as VP. The Republicans are reminding everyone here that we cater for everyone in the United States. Also McCain wants to send a message that Republicans are not just Bible thumping gun carrying hicks.

I find it interesting that people choose a vice-president to help them win the election, rather than a vice-president that can help them rule/that can be a good replacment.

As I see it this is a win-win situation. If obama wins the us will have a black man as president. Proving once and for all that racism is no longer so dominant in politics that it can stop a black man from being elected as president. It will give a kick in the butt of the american dream thing.

If mccain is elected then he will no doubt die from old age/bad hearth/relief that he is office that the US will have its first female president. Showing once and for all that american women will have to kill men, to get anywhere in the US.



Yes I joke. Besides that I notice that noone have a good idea on how to deal with the economic crisis. I guess that increasing taxes is not such a popular thing to do in election times heh?

Sorry to disappoint you all, but we are not like that. Heck I don't go to church alot, I don't own a gun, and I even support Gay marriage. I'm just a capitalistic, less government, and a hawk Republican.

Palin is an attractive woman, one has to consider that. There is a certain coherence between a candidates attractiveness and the number of votes he/she gets. It might not be the determining factor in the end, but it sure is helpful.

The all have the same ideology anyway: Say whatever you have to at the moment to protect your own ass and keep your career alive. Everything else is secondary.

How about we balance the fucking budget, then worry about what Sen. Jasper from Arkansas thinks about egalitarianism.

Charlie Gibson asked her what she though of the "Bush Doctrine" and she didn't know what that was. And she was mayor of Alaska's Crystal Meth capital.

Thing about the cutting of funding for the local library- this came after the director of the library opposed her decision to ban books. From what I have been reading, she's kind of petty in her politics.

Seriously, if McCain dies and she is elected, we're one step closer to a theocracy. Everyone been to an Assembly's of God church?
