I wrote mine based off me just so i could get him killed off if needed for the story or if i need to take a vacation.
 
you really should make a character you want to keep and nurture Milesyboy. if you really want someone to be killed off you might as well make an NPC...

anyhow, still thinking about my char, final char should be ready soon.
 
I plan to keep him if needed Suaside, but depends on my job situation relating to my time online ;), And if Zoe needs to kill someone off for dramatic effect I can always make a new one, perhaps based off the hungarian side of my family heh.
 
whoa, what i put down is not an idealized version of myself. I do NOT think a fatasshole computernerd would be the best that i can be. The best that i can be would be more like Andre the Giant on mentats. I did say fairly experienced with handguns, but i'm NOT an expert marksman, i just know how to shoot decently. The rest of my skills are just my hobbies.
 
as for BK: there are kids of no more than 9 year old fighting with kalashnikovs in third world countries... unless your a sickly boy you should have no problem handling a normal or low calibre pistol. (steer clear from .44, .50 & such)

also maybe make your character a scoundrel, so the people in the vault are glad to get rid of him. cant see any other way of those people letting a child go...

Wow quite an active weekend, eh? A lot of posts! :)

I will read carefully the character sheets, and make comments - so far I would like to point out that it will be really more fun if people do have different skills and some realistic flaws, not just merits.

Anyway, I am antecipeting this game will be very fun :D

More comments: Guys dont worry about the game not being in known wasteland. Remember things CHANGED after the bombs fell - I am creating what we have ahead. You will have surprises :twisted:

As for BK - indeed your character will be fun; and yes, people would be more prone to let a child go if he was a pest :P so you can play as this (or at least make him have done something realy annoying or disturbing that would get him more than grounded :)

I dunno if you guys think I am faking my char but it is me pretty much on the button.

I can talk my way out of anything.
I have shot since I was 6......I am familiar with guns like most people are with their hands.
I dissasembled and reassembled my first carberatour when I was 4
I am 2 years ahead of the average people in my school at science.
I have spent alot of time outdoors camping.
I have taken martial arts and swordplay/fencing classes.

I anyone needs me to explain other things I put up there I gladly will.
 
By reading this thread one could think we NMA could rebuild the world on ourselves in case of a fallout. So many talented people in one place!

I have not made up my mind about it yet, Specialist. I was thinking I would not, since I am GMing this and would not be fair - but who knows, an NPC cameo.

i'd be dead in case of nuclear war, and so would most of the other guys from NMA :wink:

oh come on, Welsh is doing a fine job being GM and having 2 main plot characters at the same time in the Wasteland/V13 thread...

i'm sure you can handle one :wink:

Ehm, I know I can handle, just that I did not think it would be necessary - we have a good and large cast and there is a lot to do ;) But later on, maybe I join my character.

:arrow: Dead in case of a nuclear war - well in case a nuclear war reaches Amazon we can surely suppose the world is gone for good...
 
Specialist, I believe Melchiors character is refering to an NPC who actually is not in our vault. Melchior, what say you?

what the hell have you got to get the raiders back for? you dont even know if there are any at this point... why would you want revenge on them ffs? you've been locked safely into the vault for over a year. raiders and riots would only erupt after the vaults closed (after the bombs fell).

you are going out into an unknown world. you dont even know if anyone is still alive on the surface.
 
It makes a strange kind of sense when you read his characther history. I think if he changes his parents being killed by raiders, to his parents getting killed by rioters then it makes more sense. Maybe brotherhood knights character just asociates rioters with raiders afterwards, or something.
