Hello...
Been out a while and a heated discussion arises!
Oh well, lets see:
1) Yes, the game has the tendency of realism and plausibility BUT please keep in mind its fiction. We are playing a game. I considered that if I made everybody spend long years in the vaults waiting to leave it would become boring or the characters would know each other too well (which btw could be boring too and hard to rp) So I took the literary license (as in the expression
poetic license), meaning i would distort things a bit for gaming sake. This is why in our game it was possible that in such a short period of time our heroes were able to leave the vault. I also wanted the initial landscape to be that of a desolated city. As you may see, one of the themes I am developing in this game is Hope against Dream. Our heroes had the will to go outside, had expectations and even perhaps one image of what they could find - but now are facing the reality. A few buildings standing are a literal representation of Hope (duh I am getting too
authorish here - I better stop the dissecation before I kill my patient!
Sufice to say this: we will have plausibility and realism but take it with a grain of salt. Certain details defnatly are not going to be lifelike (hence, whenever you have a doubt, feel confused, etc ask here and we will see to that. Also, feel free to make suggestions!
2 - Oh dear, seems I made a slight confusion about char names, eh? Humans do that now and then. Dont take it personaly
Ok, I am glad to see the argument that spawned here ended up with reason. A friendly and mature attitude. Way to go, guys!
Now, onto playing!
Cheers,
Zoe
