Anyone having problem only playing Fallout obsessively

First time out of the vault
I have several steam games and PC packages, i'm not an game addict but i like buying them when they are sold at half price on holidays.

Problem is, for years i've only played Fallout. i don't have much time to play all the games and have to work, I pour all my spare time on fallout.

I'm not attracted to any other games anymore..i don't know why.. i have Batman Arkham city... it is hilarious game.. but I played it for hours then stopped it.

All I play is only Fallout.

I played games as hobby since i was young. Only things caught my eyes were final fantasy series and fallout.

what's wrong with me?

What's wrong is that you like Final Fantasy, I mean What the fuck?

I am kidding, but FF still sucks

I have almost a thousand hours i nNew Vegas, mostly ebcause I use it as a Fallback game whenever i have nothign new to play on PC or 3DS.

a thousand hours? Wow i only reached 380 hours now. i still couldn't finish some quests and two DLCs.

Wel lI bught it when it came out, and I like doing multiple runs with a lot of different characters, My most recent one is for an LP in this very sub thread, I tend to clock 4 hours every time I go get screenies without even realizing it, now it's ME the one who has a problem.

i bought it when it came out too, fortunately my PC is old, I have to stop playing after 2-4 hours because it gets slowed down or freezes.

I won't upgrade my PC parts for my sake.. :)

I just don't have very many games on my computer (and I don't own consoles).

I have Fallout and Fallout: New Vegas, Legend of Grimrock, Dwarf Fortress, and Solitaire.

I see no problem here, Fallout is amazing and if you enjoy why should you care if you don't play anything else?

Yeah, I also had this problem, especially when the DLCs were not out yet.
I kept replaying the game over and over again which at some point I found very frustrating as I really wanted to dedicate more time to practice drawing.

Playing it a few times with all the SP DLC did give me the feeling of a 'complete experience', and with all the restoration and fix mods the game is even better.

But now I am glad that I am sort of over it. I will sure play it again but I have plenty of other stuff that needs to be done first.

This is typical of good games :

1) you play a lot because they are good
2) then you play as an habit
3) finally you play because you master the game and dont wanna learn something else

When you're at step 3, it is too late.

Advice : dont play Dark Souls (or do play Dark Souls !)

Seconded, my computer is crap, and I usually play New Vegas as a backup game while I wait for an indie game to be released that I can actually play.

I tend to pop in Fallout 3 or New Vegas every now and then to waste a few hours. But I also do that with Halo as well.
