Apparently, this is why Fallout 4 is a good game

So you guys want to make a comic that demonizes your opposition eh?, Well two can play at that game(Sorry if this comic takes up a lot of space)

Disclaimers: This is a parody done only in retaliation to the initial comic. I do not mean any offence to any genuine Bethesda fans.
I would also like to say that I only take credit for the Bethesda version of this comic, I didn't create the original. I would name the original artist, however their name is unknown, but this comic was originally posted on 9gag and was about Donald Trump. Obviously you wouldn't otherwise be able to tell that I wasn't the original creator because of my Mad Editing Skills.

I wouldn't mind if Bethesda just made Saint's Row:Fallout, a game where you can ride around on deathclaws, fly vertibirds and UFOs wherever you want, and blow up super mutants and ghouls constantly. As long as it was fun and made me laugh I'd be cool with it. But Bethesda doesn't make that kind of game. They makes hiking simulators with the deliberate task of trying to trick its consumers into thinking that it's deep and intelligently-written. The more pretensions they have, the more insulting it is to fans of Fallout, 2, Tactics and New Vegas, because we are asked to actually compare them to Fallout 3 and 4 as equals.

It's easier to just parade its mangled remains around like a puppet then keep the remaining dignity it doesn't have and let it rest.

And there's nothing wrong with liking Borderlands. I personally LOVE the art style and I like some of the writing and characters as well. But there's no character interaction whatsoever and now Fallout 4 is that way.

Fallout 4 decided to clone that and as a result actual Fallout fans dislike Fallout 4 while fans who traditionally LOVED borderlands are in love with Fallout 4.

And I have said here before: If Fallout 4 was actually Borderlands 3, I would call it a tremendous improvement on the series.
I have to disagree. Borderlands 2/TPS isn't bad at all for the genre it knows it is. It beats FO4 by miles with more gun variety, quests are at the least varying with decent comedy, loot system was rewarding. Im not trying to defend the games simpleness, but i won't let it be cast down with the likes of fallout 4. 4 copies borderlands but does everything shittier, so I don't think its an upgrade to borderlands in the realm of goofy shooty adventure games. Ill dare say Fallout 4 is even more casual since borderlands isn't scared to let you die and struggle a bit, and has a skill system that allows different actual builds.

ALSO, The borderlands DLC was not overpriced and had sizable content(gearbox respecting their fanbase, something we never had with ol bethesda).

Borderlands is extremely boring for me, but if we play co-op with friends it is very rewarding and I have a great time.
Fallout 4 is boring too and I can't play with friends... and to be honest if it had co-op it would be a mess too because the way loot and rewards work in Fallout 4.

Why everyone messes with Borderlands >_<! It gives you what you are coming for, and it's not by far as repetitive if you are playing it right! In fact, Fallout 4 copies way more the "do all the shit on your map" that have sandbox games noeadays, like Assasin's Creed, Far Cry 3, the new Mad Max, etc.

Yes that's what they call LARPING good sir.
No, I'm pretty sure that Roleplaying in your head doesn't count as LARPING. I'm 100% sure LARPING involves physically acting how your character would act.

And why say they are roleplaying the squares being there?, I thought one of the major criticisms of FO4 is that there wasn't enough Roleplaying.

LARPING as in doing something the base game doesn't support like saying you became the Mayor of Diamond Shitty.
As for not enough role playing, there are plenty Bethesda fans that talk about how they did something even though it's not supported by the base game.

Many assume being able to put on a ninja suit and upgrade your ninja points means you can roleplay a ninja.

No, you would also have to be able to make choices a ninja would make and say things a ninja would say.

In Fallout 4, you can use whatever method you want to take on a base, like sneaking through it or blasting your way through it, but at the end of the day you're still playing the role of a sarcastic/dismissive veteran/lawyer forced into a world they did not expect.
