I delete all of the NSFW tabs to take that screenshot, and still somebody finds something to complain about!
To silence the rumours, and to cut a very boring story short, my chrome sometimes fails to load all the pages (it particularly dislikes RPG Codex for some reason) so Edge often has to do. Thankfully NMA is always a chrome job.

I'm alright thanks, though I have not read much of him. Did love reading Sander's arguments with the gamergaters back in the day, that was pretty good. Sad that he left before I decided to join, though banning Vergil showed that the admins still have teeth.
You are probably the first person I'm seeing who misses Sander. Dude was an insufferable cunt to such a huge degree, that even people who shared views with him (including me, to an extent) were happy to see him leave.
He was basically abusing his admin rights and banning people who expressed a different view than him. Sure, some of the people (like Vergil) more than deserved to get banned, but he also banned folks who were respectful in discourse and simply expressed disagreement.
Banning people because you disagree with them and using your authority to mold the community to your own worldview is not good moderating. I wouldn't mind if he was still around, but I would never want an admin like him.

I've read your LetsPlay. Was utterly fantastic when it came out, and is even better on the successive times I have read it. Probably one of the best I've read (though Toront's Duke Nukem one was also brilliant.) I'll shill for those any day of the week. Great fun.
Yeah, I should probably qualify what I said, and to say I was not a member when he was active, so I guess I can only say what I saw from looking in, and reading vatted threads after I joined. I guess I just thought he made superior arguments to those that opposed him, and quoted evidence that was never refuted by them. Some of the posters were hilarious in their attempts by contrast. I guess I can agree on many of your points otherwise.
It is quite clear that he did attempt to do as you say, and I'm glad that does not exist anymore. Better to refute opinions like he was trying to do before (Not sure Akratus etc. are banned) instead of crushing them. (Wasn't Vergil banned by the current admins/mods?-made that point to say that this place isn't a hive of morons,it's roughly the right balance now.)
I had a longer post that did say all of that, but shortened it, so there it is in all it's (mostly) glory.
Yeah, Vergil came later. Basically, at some point a lot of people complained about Sander's and Tagz' moderating style, and so they reinstated another moderator for General Discussions, me. Since normal moderator rights were not really all that useful when it comes to banning people, I got later promoted to administrator.
