Um. Anybody else likes the dark and eerie NIN soundtrack for Quake 1 ?

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2,3,4,THUG! Always went to the computer after playing to DL a song.
C&C
Diablo 1,2 (not great, but never got on my nerves)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Fallout 1,2 of course
FF's were usually good

Fallout music? Lame?

The only way to put them in the same sentence is to put "is far from" between them.

Fallout1&2 had great music!

I also love Arcanum's music

Ice wind dale also had some real nice tunes

Arcanum's music was nice, but far to repetitive. One single tune, just slightly changed for over a dozen pieces of music? The few original pieces of music in the game were a breath of fresh air.

Here's my little list:
Europa 1400
The Longest Journey
Startopia
Stronghold

I always wanted to get Europa 1400 and the Longest Joyrney.

What cities are in Europa? If it has anything East of Vienna, I'll buy it.

I kind of.....did not legally aquire....Stronghold, and this version does not have music. I really should but it, it has a family castle in Whales in one of the scenarios. I actually liked it alot.

My favourites include Quake II(Ozzy Osbourne was supposed to do a track, but didn't in the end), Fallout 2's Vault City, Doom's Dis, a lot of the Legend of Zelda tracks, Metroid(the NES one) and Super Mario Bros.

Damn, sorry CCR, I must have lost track of your post. Only with Rak's resurrection of this thread have I noticed the outstanding question.

To answer your question, nothing East of Vienna, the game deals with Western Central Europe. The five cities in the game are Paris, Madrid, Berlin, London, and Milan.

Europa 1400 is a good game, though it could benefit from some added polish and more development time. I can forgive such faults from smaller developers. Though you should undoubtably purchase The Longest Journey, it should be rather cheap by now. It's a bit dated, but that's not much of a problem. Can't wait for Dreamfall (did you hear it received money from the government for the arts?), though Funcom has a mixed record with it's games.

Buy a legit copy of Stronghold damnit, support the developers.

 Painkiller
 Red alert
 GTA:Vise city
 Fallout (1,2)

Painkiller is the best :D .

Mortal Kombat always had good music for the game. It's not something you'd wanna listen to in your car but its great music for a dark fighting game.

Enter the Matrix has good music.

Aladdin on Sega had good music, also suited the game and did not hurt ears.

1. Fallout 1&2

2. Descent 2

3. Red Alert

4. Stronghold

5. Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge

6. Red Alert 2
