Meagan Fox is hot, but she's bad in acting.

I starting to hate when people are saying "Yeah, she's bad in acting but...man she's hot!".
 
This looks terrible. And yeah, the fight scenes do look bad; it's the acting and choreography. They must have wasted their budget on Denzel so they didn't have enough to hire a decent choreographer.

Let me know when The Road comes out.

anyhow, i'll watch it regardless of the stupid fights. it sure looks like some nice scenery.

Same thoughts here. Trailer looked awesome. perfect. Till those fighting started.

Though I hope the acting will be at least somewhat good.

Good. That is more a Fallout movie (by long standards, but if we have to have one)... let the FINO have this projectile follow camera shit with godmode sword knight and Mad Max 3.
 
I think it looks like it's worth watching. I'm not going to judge a movie based on a few seconds of fighting footage.

But the trailers are there to promote movies. To give a taste of what the product is, so people will know if they want to see it, or not.

At this point, I don't wanna pay my money to see this movie. They didn't convince me.

Usualy I would agree. But I dont know I today have the feeling when watching a movie, that most trailers somewhat are "better" then the whole movie. Well cause they usualy tend to show some of the best parts but in a very short time frame. And I have no clue why they always need for example to destroy a rather "good" action movie with fitted fake romantic plott. Aliens vs Predator is a good example as well where the trailer was miles better then movie mainly cause the actors did a really bad job. But I also blame the writters to not really think about the dialogues and if they even fitt to such a person. I mean if Schwarzenegger with his muscles in a jungle with guys that wield a minigun shout some macho conversation thats one thing and entertaining. But not a person like Sanaa Lathan. Leaving alone Lance Henriksen.
 
I guess interpretation of trailers is a form of media literacy. You either have the eye for it or not. But you can work it. It's not like this differ from any of those thousands non-artsy movie trailers out there. My advice for any "wait till it's finished"/"wait till I've seen it" people is to watch trailers for movies you have already seen.

Probably gonna watch it. But I'm not sure it's worth it. In a way six-strings samurai is not worth it.
