Well Australia does have one of the highest standards of living in the entire world. (I think even higher than the US, but I'm not sure.) And it has Duck Billed Platypus's, I mean you reall cannot beat the Platypus, I mean its THE PLATYPUS, you can't get any better than that.

Not hard considering the entire country has only about 19 million people, less than the population of New York City (with suburbs).

I like the Kiwi actually.. its egg is roughly 1/3 the size of its entire body. Lots of wierd animals in Australia.
